A Kennedy considers running for House seat (Camelot Returns!?)
Boston Globe ^ | 2/27/10 | Frank Phillips and Susan Milligan

With speculation mounting that US Representative William D. Delahunt will not seek reelection, Joseph P. Kennedy III, son of the former congressman and great-grandson of the Kennedy family patriarch, is eyeing a run to succeed him in the 10th Congressional District, senior Democratic sources say.

The sources say that Kennedy, a 29-year-old assistant district attorney on the Cape considered by many to be the most promising member of his generation to extend the family’s political legacy, is not close to making any decisions and will not speak publicly until Delahunt announces whether he will seek another term. The discussions are taking place very privately among Kennedy family confidants.

One potential hurdle, however, is the political climate in the state, and especially in that district, which went heavily for Republican Scott Brown in last month’s Senate election.

Now this would really inspire the people of MA, who have long professed a belief in “merit” instead of “heredity”.

Great. Another Kennedy who thinks he should be running things because he’s, well, because he’s a Kennedy. A 29-year-old assistant district attorney? Whose father is in bed with Hugo Chavez? This is the most qualified and experienced they can come up with in the entire Congressional district?

His past MAY BE replete with drugged and raped women... and possibly murder... drunkeness and dui... and a purchased diploma... after all... he is a kennedy!

If he’s 29 now he’d have been around 21 when the planes went into the buildings. It’s odd he didn’t buck up and join the military. It’s something that really surprises me for a guy who apparently is now considering putting himself into a position to vote for other men to be sent into combat.

This guy is hooked up big time with Hugo Chavez and Venezuela's Citgo subsidiary. Better start the foreign sourced campaign contributions audit right now.

He’s probably one of the more handsome members of that family. The jawline is all Kennedy, however. I’m sure that the penchant to spend other people’s money is too.

"Joseph P. Kennedy III, son of the former congressman"

That would be son of Joseph P. Kennedy II, who since leaving congress has been working with Hugo Chavez (through a Citgo funded NGO) to bring the benefits and wisdom of socialism to the people of the US?

And nephew of the late Senator from Chappaquiddick whose name appears on KGB archives for secretly volunteering to assist Soviet leaders undermine US efforts to defend against their goal of nuclear world domination?

How far could that apple have fallen from that rotted family tree?

Hey, where’s that picture of the guy from the 60’s, rubbing his heading and saying, “Aw, geez, not this...again,” when you need it.

“...extend the legacy...” of flunking the bar, drinking, killing women, covering up for it, using the ambassador’s felon money to get elected so that he can spend our money, spaz at skiing, spaz at flying (and killing more women) ..etc, etc.

Is there any Kennedy that actually has had a real job and created something?

Do Kennedys have the muscle motor control genes?

Do Kennedys have brains?

Actually the Kennedy’s are taught from birth that they have to participate in community relations and give back due to the gifts they have been given. Maybe the younger generation will turn out better than the some of the older ones.
