There’s hardly an evangelical who doesn’t know about Wheaton College. Alma Mater of the Reverend Billy Graham, Wheaton boasts a student body of superior intellect and an education rivaling much of the Ivy League. Wheaton College graduates can boast of presidential speech writers and Speakers of the United States House of Representatives along with doctors and executives and professors and missionaries and pastors across the globe.

But Wheaton is different. Founded by an anti-slavery father and son, Jonathan and Charles Blanchard, Wheaton was established as a chain in the Underground Railroad to help runaway slaves. Wheaton’s distinctive has always been to educate students not only with knowledge but with wisdom. All truth is God’s truth. The knowledge of God brings greater understanding, not less … the acknowledgement of Him brings order from chaos in science, mathematics and economic systems. To be a Christ follower can bring the highest of intellectual pursuits, not the Bible thumping ignorance Hollywood would portray.

I graduated from Bethel College (MN) in the mid-nineties. There were MANY students from Chicago, huge recruiting area for Bethel. I thought it odd that more didn't attend Wheaton.

I guess I now know why. Of course, it seems like Bethel is starting to make the same slide.

Whites oppress blacks … even 6-year-old white children are intrinsically racist. Big business oppresses the working man…even business owners who are honest and generous. To be successful in business is to oppress and the score must be evened to obtain justice. Heterosexuals oppress homosexuals with no allowance for moral objection. I knew there was a problem there when the school changed it's name from Wheaton Bible College, to just plain ol' Wheaton.

The 'problem' at Wheaton College isn't an isolated incident, and it isn't a recent one. At all levels of education, the 'Christian schools' have been infiltrated by leftist 'atheist' Teachers and or Professors.

• Back in the 'olden days' at Catholic Elementary Schools all the teachers were all Nuns.
• And at all boy Catholic High Schools, like De La Salle, the teachers were Christian Brothers. Ditto for a HS like St Rita (though I don't recall the Order they belonged to).
• And at all girl Catholic High Schools like Lourdes, the teachers were again, all Nuns.
  
• And at Catholic Colleges / Universities like DePaul or Loyola the teachers and or Professors were all Catholic (iirc most were Priests).

  But that's all changed now.

Nuns are rare so regular teachers are hired for Catholic Elementary Schools, whatever their religion be, if they even have one. There's not as many Brothers or Priests so ditto on them being Teachers. And at the 'Catholic' DePaul University there are now Professors who are ... Jewish. Now I have nothing against Jewish Professors, but I don't think a Catholic Univ is exactly the right place for them. It's like a Priest teaching at a Jewish School.

So what's happening at Wheaton College is typical for what's going on in today's world, and its cock-eyed.

It is much easier for evil to prevail than for good. When there are no rules, when lying and killing are not only accepted but encouraged (think Muslims, also) and when the good are held to high moral standards by evil and by themselves, evil has a cake walk, for a time. Good is often only appreciated over the long haul and usually after evil has sown all the seeds of its own destruction.

This evil, Communism/Islam, is also very cunning and patient. Through incrementalism and seventy plus years of steady progress they now control the media, education, the labor unions including government workers’ unions, the entertainment industry, and have made great inroads into the churches. They have seeded their operatives throughout our government agencies and often accomplish their goals through unheralded regulations rather than legislation.

Like the Lilliputians they have quietly and slowly bound us with thread as we slept.

However, when severely challenged and threatened with extinction Good will rear its head and fight back. That is what we are seeing now with the Tea Party Movement and a new charismatic leader in Sarah Palin.

I am not calling Palin our new political leader, though she may become that, but she is a new charismatic voice and personality for a conservative movement which declares simply and in a straight forward non-nuanced way that “We the People” want things the way they were intended to be when this country was founded.

The giant has awakened.

I don't think so.
There's more to the Torah and Jewish Teaching than the Christian Bible's Old Testament.

There are the 'Mosaic Laws' (Laws of Moses), there's over 600 of them that Jews are taught on how to live. And Christians, or a Priest know nothing about them, not having studied them.

No, I don't think a Priest would work.
