It’s bizarre. Why does President Obama insist upon driving public option health care legislation through Congress when voter opposition to it is at an all-time high?

Unhappiness with Obama and the other leading Democrats is so high that a national tea party movement has virtually brought the Republicans back from the electoral grave. The president’s job approval numbers have been in a year-long slide. In almost every election since he took office, Democrats have gotten trounced.

Yet he continues to push extraordinarily unpopular policies. Could it be the advice he’s been getting?

In the face of this disastrous performance by President Obama and the Democrats, the Clinton team has been actively advising that they keep doing what they’re doing. It’s as if Bill Clinton has just discovered that his beloved party is firmly in the clutches of the extreme left, and he’s decided to encourage their leaders to drive themselves into the proverbial ditch....

My first introduction to a commie college instructor was listening to this guy talk about how he was encouraging old people to get up from their rocking chairs to "join the march." I asked him "What march?" and he responded, "The march that will set them free." No kidding.

All these Obama, Clinton, Acorn types have only one direction in which to go and that is some march that takes them from where they are to "change."

Our big problem with their action is that they want to use OUR money and "change" OUR Constitution in order to do it.

Because he has to dance with those who brung him...and bill clinton brung him. It isn't about the presidency. It's about the endgame and control of yet another sector of the economy and peoples' lives.
Those who stand to gain the most from this are outside government. They don't give a damn who is sitting in the congress OR the whitehouse.

I call your attention to the sign behind clinton, et.al. This was a clinton forum. The plans for a "new economy" are rolling forward like a steamroller...and it includes the health industry, big pharmaceuticals, and lawyers.

It also includes population control instituted at the highest levels. Gore said it in his global warming testimony before congress, but it got hardly any attention.
POPULATION control is a high priority for these critters...not just here, but worldwide, and particularly in Africa and other third world countries.

I know what you mean about “the march.” Liberals get all excited about the march, the parade. They want to carry signs and feel like they’re part of something and cha-ange the world, re-arrange the world. I picture them coming home from “the march” and drinking wine and smoking pot and having “free sex” and thinking they’re on top of the world — or thinking they missed out on that sort of thing and want to bring it back.

I have this otherwise intelligent friend, a graphic designer, who has a picture of Che on his refrigerator. It troubled me, but his dedication to the left wing became clear to me when he admitted he became a “leftie” after he saw the move “Reds.” I think a lot of these clowns are really about the style of revolution — radical chic — that’s as deep as it goes. They just happened to have voted in 2008.
