BOSTON (Associated Press) -- A top Massachusetts Democrat said Saturday that one of Robert F. Kennedy's grandsons is considering carrying on the family's vaunted political tradition by running for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Joseph P. Kennedy III, one of the twin sons of former Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II, may run this fall if Democratic Rep. William Delahunt decides against seeking re-election in his South Shore and Cape Cod district.

Kennedy, 29, "has been considering it but he hasn't made a decision," said the Democrat, who demanded anonymity to speak about private conversations with the father and son.

It’s either bootlegging booze or politics for the Kennedys.

It’s either bootlegging booze or politics for the Kennedys.

Bootlegging does less harm to the country.

I haven’t heard a thing about Delahunt and the brother-murder coverup. The press has ignored it. But maybe this jamoke has heard that Delahunt is in trouble and might pull out?

Wow, he’s 29 years old and hasn’t killed anybody or had one of his kids lobotomized yet . . . are you sure this is a Kennedy?

Robert F. Kennedy's grandsons is considering carrying on the family's vaunted political tradition

verses

Robert F. Kennedy's grandson is considering carrying on the family's vaunted public service tradition....

When it is a political tradition in the United States of America...you've worn out your welcome.

I’d like to see a Kennedy - any Kennedy - successfully run a lemonad stand before voting for a Kennedy.

Kennedys: You can make them put their pants on, but you can’t take them anywhere.

Enough already with the whole dysfunctional herd.
