You'll need two pieces of software and I guarantee you'll be able to convert a Youtube Flash Video (.flv format) to a Windows Media Vid file (.wmv format).
The first is freeware and it is called Moyea FLV Downloader. Simply download this program, copy and paste the Youtube URL into the Moyea web browser and tell it where to save the file.
The other piece is called AVS Video Converter. It can be downloaded as Shareware...I don't recall what the limitation is for this particular piece since I bought their entire suite for $59.00...it's that good. Read their website and see what you get for $59. It's amazing and their stuff WORKS. But I digress.
Use the AVS Video Converter to convert your saved Youtube FLV video to .wmv with 2 clicks of you mouse. You're done. Simple. I have done this many times and it works everytime.

You can copy the embed code from the Youtube site and paste it into the PPT page, click on the link during the presentation, provided you have internet access at the presentation site, and the video will play.

The limitation is a watermark right in the middle of the converted video. So it makes the video unusable for the most part, although it allows you to see the quality of the conversion. It is a very good program if you pay for it.

It is a very good program if you pay for it. I tested all the AVS products and they are fantastic. Which is why I paid the money to get them all.
I have tried a great number of audio and video products over the years and none of them have come close to the AVS products. They are simply top notch.
