I saw him interviewed on the Today Show about 25 years ago by Bryant Gumbal. After the interview was over and the cameras cut back, Gumbal appeared disoriented and shaken and mumbled something like, "He's NOT a nice man..."

I don't know what that was all about, and it was never explained.
