The best we can do for governor is Meg Whitman.

I've heard this blather for years now in California, it wasn't true with Arnold, and it's not true with Whitman.

Furthermore, she is pro-Abortion.

Which in this conservative's book makes her somebody I can't vote for unless I am willing to sacrifice my most important principles.

I guess the GOP decided it did not want the votes of conservatives this year.

I predict the GOP will be shocked when they see Perry nor her are wanted any longer. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Couldn’t be Happier about Governor Perry winning. We’ve support Bailey Hutchinson in the past as a Senator but she was getting considerably more squirrely on issues such as cap and trade and especially her tilt towards legalizing the illegals. As far as the pretender Medina, isn’t that nut job head of Code Pinks last name Medina?

That would be Charlie Crist. But since he’s not running for re-election he is gone.

You mean just like Perry did after the 2006 election when he ran on building a border fence, which suddenly became a "virtual fence" after inauguration day and a couple backroom meetings with the Mexican government?

You know what’s an even bigger waste of time and money? People who concentrate all their efforts on stopping a fringe “truther” candidate who has no chance and who’s polling in the low teens, while a proven RINO incumbent walks away with the entire election.

Perry has a lot in common with Charlie Crist. Perhaps even in more ways than he’d care to let on. But the one difference is Perry’s a smarter politician when it comes to detecting the political winds. He saw them blowing right and ran there. And when they blow left again, he’ll be the first to hoist his sail.

That blows, man.

Rick Perry isn’t the greatest, but he’s far better than Kay Bailey Hutchison.

Wishy-washy Kay Bailey spends most of her time standing around, licking her finger and sticking it into the political wind to get her direction. And so you get her unforgivable support for citizenship for illegal aliens among other things.

At least Perry, even when he's wrong, is steadfast on some of his positions.

Oh BFD. Look she's pro-choice and if she were vociferously pro-life, she would lose. Simple as that. California is not Alabama. And as governor she has no power to do anything about abortion. Did you ever take a course in civics or government. Abortion is a FEDERAL issue. The governor is extremely limited in what they can do about it. If you were to vote for a local water commissioner, would abortion be an issue with you?

For the record I'm pro life but not every office should be about this issue. You need to learn the mechanics of government, and not make every election a referendum on abortion. You and your type are one of the reasons we are losing elections.

How much do you know about the Trans Texas Corridor?

Thank God it hasn’t been built.

My family is from East Texas, and the Trans Texas Corridor would have ruined that part of Texas just to get Mexican truckers through Texas.

I don’t like Perry. He is only a conservative for his own self interests.

And don’t forget about Perry and Guardisil.

I would never vote for a democrat because they would probably also be for the Trans Texas Corridor.

I trust Perry about as far as I could throw him.

He has to be the luckiest politician ever.

Thank you. It’s nice to see a few fellow freepers who see through Perry. I cannot stand him.

Scary food for thought. He is worse than McCain, and I would not vote for him ever.

Please - Stick to Palin, Pence and other decent politicians. Let Perry die in Texas.

I have a degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M (same university as Perry), and I can’t stand Perry.

I have never seen Sarah Palin in a better mood and performance than last night on Jay Leno.

Conservative politicians are a dime a dozen, I think Sarah should get herself a TV show where she can push the conservative agenda on a daily basis.

Texas Republican Primary Choice 2010:

An empty resume, with no major accomplishments, no voting record, no offices held and some wacky conspiracy theories.

A long time politician who has spent far too long in the DC sewer and gone off the Conservative reservation too many times.

A sitting Governor who has flirted with liberal ideas, but has recently swung back away from the dark side.

What would Reagan do?
