Israelis doing business in Dubai will wait out storm
The Jerusalem Post ^ | March 3, 2010 | Ron Friedman

A day after Dubai police chief Lt.-Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim said travelers suspected of being Israeli would not be allowed into the country, Israeli businesspeople who visit there regularly said his statement was mostly hot air.

The police chief made the statement following the killing of senior Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in the city, an act the Emirates authorities blame on the Mossad. He said the authorities would identify holders of Israeli passports even if they traveled under foreign passports.

While not rushing to come forth and identify themselves in the media, frequent Israeli visitors to Dubai responded nonchalantly to questions about the threat posed to their business dealings, and said they thought the episode would soon blow over.

“The bottom line is that the whole world wants Israeli hi-tech, agricultural and medical products, and that includes the residents of the United Arab Emirates,” said S., an Israeli-American trade promoter who travels to Dubai several times a year. “If they need the product, they quickly learn to ignore its origin.”

"The whole world wants Israeli hi-tech, agricultural and medical products, and that includes in the UAE."

Wait out a storm of anti-Semitism first.

Yes.

And here is a link to it:

Arabs may have targeted Mabhouh'(Muhammadans killing their own and blaming Israel)

And in Aljazeera today, there's an article about a whole host of unsavory characters populating Dubai, it's pretty horrifying, the article was entitled:

DUBAI ATTRACTING ILLEGAL TRADE

(I posted the link in that thread in post #36, I think it is.)

I know of three Israelis, all of whom were appointed diplomatic officials during Bibi’s prior PM term, who have saved the Dubai royalty at a minimum of US$1 Billion dollars in CDO and CRE mortgage triage sales during 2009.

That is, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum can call Netanyahu at any time.

Even more to the point, his wife Haya’s brother has just as many motivations to eliminate Mahmoud al-Mabhouh as does the Mossad.

There has been coverage of the possibility that Jordanian intelligence services were involved in tracking Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in the weeks prior to his demise. Well, Dubai Emir Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s brother-in-law is the commander of the Jordanian intelligence services!!

On this alone I believe the Dubai police chief is doing one of two things. He is a worker bee who is making a circus out of this to booster his domestic and intra-Arab and intra-Islamic society standing to make sure the Iranians don’t eliminate him in retaliation, OR the Dubai police chief is well aware of the actual game and is putting on this circus to make sure the Arab media has no reason to connect the dots between the Emir’s family ties to the Jordanian spies who assisted the Israelis in tracking Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

The Arabs have such a convoluted social psychosis regarding their pan-Arabic support of arms smugglers and Muslim-civilian mass murderers.

There has been a Arabic/Nigerian/Libyan/Sudanese/Hezbollah trading network spanning from Dubai to Bosnia to Lebanon to Zimbabwe to Indonesia that trades in blood diamonds and gun running for decades.

All of the diamonds and precious gems moving north end up in Dubai’s markets, where they are directly funding Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, the Iranian Al Quds forces, and even the Indonesian and Phillipino Muslim seperatist guerrillas.

In return, Iranians are smuggling guns into sub Saharan Africa and arming anyone with the money to buy from the Nigerians and other ethnic trader groups in the south.

That is the specific reason that Dubai’s customs and tariff laws do not tax import/export, if there is no tax, there is no reason to declare import/export of goods, so there is no paper trail to come back to haunt the Emir and Dubai’s trading clans.
