Murtha should have a Navy $hit yard named after him.

Pennsylvania should just officially replace the word “pothole” with “Murtha”.
Every day, all across Pennsylvania, drivers could be cussing, “Dammit, I just hit another Murtha”. “When is the state going to do something sbout all these damn Murthas?”
Remember, If driving is better in the winter because the Murthas are filled with snow, you live in Pennsylvania!

You would also need to bribe the harbormaster when you requested permission to dock there.

I thought they had already changed the name to the Philadelphia Naval Business Center

This would be the Philadelphia Navy Shipyard that closed down about 15 years ago? Seems somewhat appropriate then.
To: grace522
Then they can build the Michael Vick Animal Shelter right next to it.

I would think the John Murtha Memorial Punctured Bowel Sewage Center would be most appropriate. Imagine you are so full of it you die from it. Or how about a John Murtha Impacted Bowel pinatta. You don’t want to know what its full of.
To: Tribune7
I have to say, you gotta hand it to the Navy surgeon who “accidentally” nicked the bowel and did not close the wound....Murtha had some serious karmic payback coming, I’d say...LOL

This isn’t just a “bad idea”, it is outrageous. What will be next? The John Murtha Memorial Brig. No way! They should have stripped him of his Marine status. “Drumming out” should be reinstated. Let him be the first.
And should anyone say that it is bad to speak ill of the dead, I point out that that only applies to good people. John Murtha was not good.

The defense department remains a very large presence there. I know, my brother works there.
