Fox News and Judge Andrew Napolitano Shill for IVAW Traitor Adam Kokesh - Again
Thursday, March 4, 2010 | Kristinn

Fox News and Judge Andrew Napolitano are shamelessly promoting a wartime traitor, Adam Kokesh of the communist front group Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), as a Republican candidate for Congress.

For the second time in recent months, Judge Napolitano has had Kokesh on his Fox News show, Freedom Watch, for a softball interview about Kokesh's Republican primary bid to represent New Mexico's 3rd District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

There is no mention by Napolitano about Kokesh's involvement with terrorist supporting groups like IVAW and Code Pink, nor did Napolitano mention Kokesh's repeated disciplinary actions in the Marines that resulted in him being demoted from sergeant to corporal and from an honorable discharge to a general discharge.

Napolitano did not bring up Kokesh personally urging U.S. troops on a base in Germany to desert the military and lay down their arms.

In another era, Kokesh would have faced a firing squad or the hangman's noose for his actions in Germany. But we live in a more progressive era where traitors are heroes and heroes are the ones persecuted.

America's veterans and military families have come to expect such promotions of treasonous people by others in the media. Coming from Fox News, this is a deep betrayal.

Fox and Napolitano are either guilty of gross journalistic malpractice by not researching Kokesh's history, or they are willfully witholding that information from their viewers.

Given Fox's disgraceful history of promoting Code Pink, the latter is quite possible.

Kokesh on Napolitano's Freedom Watch March 1, 2010. Third screen down.

May, 2007, Adam Kokesh urges U.S. troops at a base in Anspach, Germany to quit the military: "If any of you should decide to leave the Army while in Germany and throw down your arms, the people of Ansbach will support you and do our best to provide you with aid, comfort, and sanctuary."

Kokesh has been endorsed by Ron Paul, of course.

Andrew Napolitano

"..Politics

Napolitano describes himself as a pro-life libertarian. He splits his time living in Manhattan and Sussex County, New Jersey.

Professor Murray Sabrin and blogger Lew Rockwell mentioned Napolitano as a possible vice presidential running mate for Republican Ron Paul during the 2008 presidential election.[1].."

Beck’s very chummy with the Judge, and his affinity for RuPaul is the single biggest strike against him in my book (and I’m a big Beck fan).

BINGO! I feel exactly the same way. I like Beck, but hanging out with PaulBots makes me wary of him.

The republicans should pick a real republican to run against this loser. They should expose his ties to leftist traitors and treat him like the enemy he is.

I thought you were referring to Beck’s inner circle. “Insiders” are subscribers to Beck’s site?

Hopefully they get the message. We need to make an issue of this SOB. New Mexico Republicans are being duped by an outright fraud, and “Dr. Paul” and the Judge are riding shotgun with him. Expose them all.

He does have a Conservative primary challenger- Tom Mullins
http://www.mullinsforcongress.com/

Unfortunately, Kokesh has both the Paul camp (CFL, etc) as well as the Code Pink & Move On camps behind him. Add on to that how poor the dem (for Obamacare, etc) is and I think Kokesh may have a good chance. We should start helping Mullins, but it will be a hard battle against those established machines this late in the game.

I’m an Iraq war veteran and this BS needs to stop.

I’ve read some of what Kokesh has written and I refuse to condemn the man. He stood by his beliefs and I can respect that. I spent 14 months in Iraq, being lied to over and over and over again.

“We’ll be out in 3 months, we’re not going to occupy, we’ve got inside people to take out Saddam....etc....etc”

The whole traitor label is BS too. Its the equivalent of the left-wing using the “global warming denier” label or race card to shut people up.

This is why I have no hope for change in the future. The Republicans send us up these false platitudes of “patriotism” and other nonsense to keep us in the fold, no matter how badly they screw up.

As it is, they look at most of us like a bunch of half-wits who they can scare into action through emphasizing Obama being the second-coming of Marx while not telling us exactly what they’d do differently.

But as long as we can get mad at people like Kokesh who choose to speak their minds, then everything else will be okay.

How many of those condemning Kokesh are aware of the vast amount of suicides and incidents of PTSD that have been occurring to those coming back from deployment? He’s one of the few who has spoken out about this and demanded better support and care for our troops.

I lost one of my dearest friends, who after 3 straight deployments, calmly walked inside his home, sat down, had a drink and put a round through his head due to unyielding combat stress.

I’m sick and tired of anyone who suggests that this whole war might not have been the greatest of idea’s or uses of resources being labeled a traitor or worse. I’m sick and tired of anyone who speaks about the negative aspects of nonstop deployments to combat troops being shouted down and ostracized.

What’s interesting enough is that one of the biggest proponent’s for veterans care and issues is a Democrat named Harry Mitchell.

I see way too many folks with “Support The Troops” bumper sticks who feel that their involvement in that particular endeavor ends with the sticker. You know how many suffering veterans we have, the unemployment rate for Iraq war veterans is ridiculous and it isn’t getting better.

There’s a crisis in this nation that is being completely shoved to the side by the “patriotic” Republicans and “veterans are campaign fodder” Democrats.

I will support anyone who stands up for veterans and their rights, because right now, what they’re getting from this nation for their sacrifice is a big F U.

Kokesh at least has been willing to stand up and work for the rights and care of veterans, I’ll gladly take that over another BS politician proclaiming how important the veterans are and then ignoring then completely after getting into office.

Right, he isn't even really throwing lip service at it, he is a one trick pony- anti-war. Hell, how do you know that even if he gives you some politician promises about helping vets, he won't just bail on it when it gets too hard like he did the USMC. He hasn't done jack s((( for Vets and I bet those folks with 'support the troops' bumper stickers and 'patriotic Republicans' you disparage do far more than Kokesh could dream. While Kokesh is playing around with Code Pink, those folks you disparage are giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to groups like the Wounded Warrior project. You have FReepers every single day visiting Walter Reed and volunteering to work with the vets. It was a group of private citizens who created the best rehabilitation center for Vets down near Ft. Hood- all done with private funding. All of this will Kokesh hangs from rafters and tries to defame Conservative groups by putting up phony racist posters. Go ahead and support your Code Pinko/Move On poster child.

He’s been one of the few that has been steadily beating the drum about trauma and other issues involving veterans.

Those issues go beyond the physically wounded that you find at Walter Reed, specifically the individuals with major trauma, difficulty readjusting back to normal life. Kokesh has raised funds for counseling and finding assistance for many of these folks that have been swept under the rug.

Once again, I’m an Iraq veteran and unless you’re missing a limb or dead, people generally don’t give a damn about you. All the “thank you for your service” platitudes don’t mean a thing if we’re letting down these people once they’re done with their military service.

I look back at my unit and while half of them have solid lives, the other half are struggling with regular life, struggling to readjust, having trouble maintaining employment....etc, and when they look for help, they find that very little exists out there.

I’ll trust a former soldier like Kokesh to look out more for veterans than another chickenhawk type like Mullins who seems to see soldiers as pawns in a grand game and not real human people. War has many consequences that go beyond the battlefield and there aren’t many in government who seem to recognize that.

Bull crap, he may make a couple of blog posts here and there in his little "liberty frat house" and troll some forums while playing scrabble, but he hasn't done jack. The one time he does go on a base to 'help' troops, he uses illegal identification to try to get into a military base in Germany to try to convince soldiers to abandon their post- and make a child like YouTube video about it, mocking troops the whole time. As you should know, getting a soldier to illegally abandon their position would ruin their career and life- how is that helping their troops? You trust that? Yea, the gov doesn't treat vets as well as they should, but going off the deep end and jumping in bed with that Code Pinko baby. Yea, he is a vet (stripped of the 'honorable' in his discharge), so was Jack Murtha and John Kerry (at that, he is very much like the latter one.)
