Pop Quiz: Which D.C. Politician Wants to Takeover Your Vitamins?

A. Barack Obama (D) B. Nancy Pelosi (D) C. John McCain (R?)

If you answered C. John McCain, you are sadly correct.

Dear Fellow Conservative,

Unfortunately, thanks to John McCain, we have to fight the battle to keep the Governments Hands Off Our Healthcare on two fronts.

John McCain, my opponent in the Republican Primary this year, has introduced legislation that would allow the FDA to completely take-over the vitamin and nutritional supplement industry! If John gets his way, all the vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and even nutritional supplements we take could be pulled from the market by the bureaucrats in Washington.

Worse still, our children and even our parents and grandparents could very well need a prescription for something as simple as a vitamin… if John McCain gets his way and Washington takes over yet another industry.

Just like they’ve done with banking. And the auto industry. And mortgages. And insurance. And pretty soon health care, if Barack Obama wins in Congress.

…But John McCain has been in Washington for 28 years now. Perhaps he thinks he knows better than we do when it comes to the rights of Americans to buy their own Vitamin-C without a prescription.

…But I think he’s wrong and American's believe John McCain is wrong. Our office has been getting flooded with calls and emails from concerned and outraged citizens about the McCain Vitamin Power Grab!

Today, I need your help. I need your help to defeat John McCain in the Republican Primary election this year – the winner of which will be Arizona’s next U.S. Senator. I need your help because you know common sense when you see it and John McCain has clearly lost his!

I need your help today to stop the Vitamin Takeover and to restore consistent conservative values to our government. I can win, but I need your help!

Thank you again for joining me by signing my petition. Won’t you join me again, by making a donation of $10, $25, $50 or even $100 to my campaign?

Thank you again… and thank you in advance for your generous support!

On to victory!

Your best source of vitamins are the foods that are rich in them: citrus fruits for vitamic C, carrots for vitamin A, grains for B vitamins and so forth. The same goes for minerals.

The pharmaceutical companies don’t want us to be able to buy vitamins. Only their drugs. How much money have they given to McLame?

Just controlling the nutritional value of our food supply is not enough. We can compensate what ever they remove with vitimins and minerals they do not control.

It's just one of many angles. I'm guessing this add will be successful with many retired folks, and that's a big group in AZ.

Through the use of my own study and use of supplements, I have avoided having to take expensive Rx drugs for arthritis. Like the ones my wife was given, which gave her a heart attack, which requires she now take other expensive Rx, which also have negative side affects.

McInsane can shove it.

Here's another quiz: What state has a very large population of "we vote in every election" seniors who are big users of inexpensive supplements?

I'll give you a hint: It's Arizona.

Did the US sign the UN Codex Alimentarius on Dec. 31, 2009?, and is McCain, for the US, beginning to comply with legislation?

Old article accurately portraying the proposed C.A. compliance. The Reps, via McCain seem to be in compliance:

“If that’s JD’s best shot, he ought to go back to roping calves.”

This is merely the latest example of McShame’s penchant for big government control over people’s lives. If you want another example, think campaign finance reform.

I use supplements and don’t need McShame or anyone else in D.C. telling me how to use them.

There is nothing McShame would not be willing to micro regulate from D.C.

Yeah.
Though Obammy is quickly trying to surpass the Constitution and push marxism on us, Juan McLame is trying to legalize illegals and push safeguards on “vitiman and weight loss supplements”?
Please J.D. help us get this dirt bag out of the Senate.
