Sarah on the other hand connects with those in the heartland on many levels; they empathize with her as a parent balancing home and government life, as a mother of a developmentally disabled child and as one who overcomes obstacles placed in her path and has an impressive list of accomplishments, especially in the energy sector.
The elite mainstream media can downplay Sarah all they want, but the everyday working family person knows better.
...sorry Mitt...you just don’t energize me.
>>>On the contrary, says Time magazine, “Romney has penned a sober, substantive tome that traces the decline of the Ottoman Empire and includes graphs of housing prices.<<<
Can Willard’s book be purchased over the counter or has the FDA classified it as a prescription sleep aid?
LOL! You helped me with a new Tagline.
But he said yesterday he hasn’t decided whether he’s running or not, he won’t make the decision until the end of the year.
(So much BS no wonder his eyes are brown)
Oh, yeah, millions would be lining up at B&N for his book—if only he had told his personal story. Jeesh! Can he actually believe that?
Well, if TIME magazine said that, I just might have
to rethink my opinion of Romney !
Go away, Mitt.
Mitt’s writing a book, huh? I’ll be sure to go right down and buy that. I’m sure it’s spellbinding. /s.
Yawn...
He’s been running since it was clear he could not win in 2008. This is no “first stop.” I could wish it were the last stop.
Somehow, I think the popularity of Palin's book is more related to her own personal popularity among conservatives - something Mitt is sorely lacking, and for good reason.
I watched Romney this morning being interviewed on one of the morning shows. Good looking guy. Smart as a whip.Boring as hell. He looks like he’s waiting for the embalming fluid.
Here’s an example — small but significant — of what’s wrong with the guy. In response to one of the government health care takeover questions, he responded, “Well, the legislators in Washington just don’t get it.”
Those with fire in the belly would have responded, “Well the POLITICIANS in Washington just don’t get it.”
That may seem like just a small difference in terminology. But, it shows a much deeper difference in mindset. Those of us out in the real world consider those bums in Washington a bunch of venal politicians. To Mitt, they are respected legislators.
I don’t know is Sarah is our candidate (I hope so), but I know Mitt is a loser.
Mitt, and all the other eternal vanity candidates, needs to get off the stage.
He is not electable and is sucking up the air from any viable candidates.
Mitt gives me the creeps. One of the most painfully funny things I’ve seen is when Mitt was trying to be “hip” while greeting folks at a MLK Day Parade.
I don't think so, his life is like a pod persons, boring and self serving with nothing to connect to. Outside of wealth and power and worship of his anti war father, and pro abortion mother, there was no life.
The closest that Mitt comes to connecting emotionally to an audience is when he is pushing Abortion.
In Mitt’s head he has a connection to MLK.
“Susan Englander, assistant editor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Papers Project at Stanford University, who is editing the King papers from that era, told the Globe yesterday: “I researched this question, and indeed it is untrue that George Romney marched with Martin Luther King.”
“Mitt Romney went a step further in a 1978 interview with the Boston Herald. Talking about the Mormon Church and racial discrimination, he said: “My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit.”
Yesterday, Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom acknowledged that was not true. “Mitt Romney did not march with Martin Luther King,” he said in an e-mail statement to the Globe.”
Ha, ha, he’s like Biden with his imaginary coal mining relatives.
Romney is somewhat like Clinton - A greasy slick that just won’t go away like he should.
That old mitt needs to be thrown into the back of the storage closet.

Where are you?
