Students, teachers, parents and school employees rallied and marched Thursday at college campuses, public parks and government buildings in many U.S. cities in what was called the March 4 Day of Action to Defend Public Education.

These folks are not defending education; rather they are juveniles protesting an impediment to their lifestyle. We need fewer colleges and universities, college students and collge graduates. Higher education is not an entitlement to live in the youth culture of American academe.

How about seeing that instate tuition at public universities isn’t abused by illegal immigrants?

Just something college “students” always do when they’re not partying or watching “Girls Gone Wild” DVDs.

“Angry college students”.

This is the ‘new’ SDS (Students for a Democratic Society). Bill Ayers and many people close to Obama have their roots in the original SDS. The Weather Underground is a splinter of SDS. They are a revolutionary communist organization.

From Trevor Loudon’s newzeal.blogspot.com:

“In early 2006, a group of former SDS members and sympathisers, led by DSA activist Paul Buhle joined with some a new generation of college students to re-found Students For a Democratic Society. The movement now has over 130 chapters across the USA.

More importantly Buhle and co also founded an SDS support group for older activists-Movement for a Democratic Society (MDS). SDS is the muscle behind the new protest movement and was very prominent in the recent violence at the Republican National Convention at St Paul Minnesota. MDS is the brains behind the SDS brawn”

astroturf. I say these yahoos protesting in my town yesterday and then afterwards made a point to walk the streets in groups with their signs. Although there may have been some bamboozelled college and high school students (that is the age some of them looked) and some parents, it looked like and the attitude of many was commie trashtastic and thuggery. This was signature liberal astroturf.

they took over downtown Santa Barbara for a time as well and man were there a lot of thugs, high school kids with nasty attitudes displaying raucous and nasty manners walking the streets after wards. Bad, hateful vibe coming from their very loud obnoxious liberal astroturf chants. YUCK! This was clearly from the libbie top down. Sorry to hear they closed down the freeway. That just pisses me off to no end.

It’s times like these when you should be allowed to throw a bunch of joints into the path of these marchers and the whole crowd will just kind of melt away into the fog.

Didn’t Zero promise people they would get two-year chits for college? and what was that about, take out student loans and if you refuse to pay for 20 years they are forgiven?

guess that didn’t fly

so here we have students expecting a free ride, which their parents can’t afford, raging against the machine to force their parents to pay more in taxes to afford what they can’t afford.

Students have been stupified

How about seeing that instate tuition at public universities isn’t abused by illegal immigrants? That was one of the things they were protesting FOR! (actual statement from one of these young skulls o' mush follows) My name is Alejandra Cruz. I’m a third-year law student at UCLA. Right now, we are sitting in front of the chancellor’s office in Murphy Hall. And I’m taking part in this protest because we’re tired of the fee increases, the lack of representation of black and Latino students, in particular, on campus. We are standing with the workers against the furloughs, against—you know, we’re standing against privatization of the university. And really, we want to have a university that we can afford, where our communities are represented and, you know, where undocumented students can actually afford to go. That’s one of our demands. We’re asking for financial aid for undocumented students. And I just think that there’s so much solidarity right here in this hallway. There’s over 300 students. /

Yeah, funny me. I thought our republic had it’s roots in democracy already. But then again, what do I know.

I demand the right to vote in Mexico’s elections then since they permit their citizens to vote at home and in the US (and encourage it).
