This morning around 8:00 EST, I attempted to access the article on Free Republic
and was unable to access the article or Free Republic. I searched on Google and
got this.

This proved that the article had been posted.
I then tried to access the cache and was unable to access it.
Another commmenter on this blog was unable to access Free Republic when I made
the request.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

May I be the first to call BS? I need corroborating details that can be verified, starting with more about the person claiming to be the malfeasor here.
Probably some “interns” that decided to switch flags.
It may be a motive initiated by the impending healthcare reconciliation.

I think this is a timed event. As soon as an Obamabot was able to make FR go down, the article got posted. However I wish it to be true and see the truth come out. I too did a search and didn’t come up with much except the Citizen Wells article.
Very possible that this story is a plant to discredit FR and those wanting to see O’s BC. (refuse to use word birthers.)

This was a fictionalization by a poster and was announced as such.
It had me wondering for a while until I read the beginning of the post.
I know, and everyone wonders why I only buy paper for the office one ream at a time. ;-)

Yeah...cuz except for this story, birther threads are topical islands of sane, well-reasoned and reality based discussions.
With Freerepublic down I thought it was interesting timing but it does name names and “sort of” a place of employment. “Divorah” Adler didn’t show up but Devorah did.

Doubtful. Kenwood is a neighborhood in Chicago, not a town. I have never heard someone refer to their neighborhood as Kenwood (or Wrigleyville or Ravenswood) IL.

They would not have involved an outsider, when the fake could have been as easily fabricated with a $100 printer and photoshop
This is obviously an attempt to label freepers “birthers” and to discredit them at a later date.
I’m still leaning towards the dailyKOS guy that fabricated it as a joke, and it went viral. obama had no intention of releasing anything, and when the fake popped up, was forced to go along, because it suited his purpose.
How would I know?
I agree but if we can find out who posted the origional story, THAT is the story!
Perhaps the story was written to demonstrate how easily Obama’s
FactCheck COLB could have been created in the first place.
Has a judge ever seen or touched it, or has it only been in the hands
of FactCheck? I think only the FactCheck “reporters” were given the
copy, which was then returned to the Obama 2008 Campaign office in Chicago.
Has Hawaii ever claimed they sent Obama the birth certificate? I don’t think so.
I don’t follow this whole birther thing, but I don’t think the veracity of Obama’s
so-called birth certificate has ever been tested in Court either.

IIRC they FactCheck people didn’t actually get to touch it. only take pics and only for 15 mins.
I remembered thinking at the time how could the media not think this was strange. to only show one outlet and for only 15 mins
Instead MSM reported it as matter of fact and proof of odumbo birth.

This is my initial impression as well. Let’s not be too fast to lend credence to things like this. There are many established facts that are more than sufficient to call Obama’s eligibility and the authenticity of his short form into question.
