Posted on 03/09/2010 12:56:58 PM PST by Doogle
A Pennsylvania woman known to authorities as "Jihad Jane" was charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to kill in a foreign country, making false statements to a government official and attempted identity theft.
The indictment, unsealed Monday, charges that Colleen R. LaRose, and five unindicted co-conspirators recruited men on the Internet to wage violent jihad in South Asia and Europe, and recruited women on the Internet who had passports and the ability to travel to and around Europe in support of violent jihad.

I knew her, I do not disagree with what she was attempting to do at all, but from talking to her last year on youtube I knew she was a bit extremist..
Not that her views were incorrect, but that she outwardly experessed her anger in an extremely negative way.
Had she been more calm in her speech maybe her plan had gone better. :)

Blonde-Haired, Blue-Eyed American Who Took Name “Jihad Jane” on Web Represents a Vexing Problem for U.S. Anti-Terror Agencies”
By Bob Orr
SNIPPET: “The Internet is filled with Web sites and videos promoting Jihad and bloggers, many based in the U.S., looking for recruits. On Wednesday CBS News researcher Khaled Wassef scrolled through a long list.
“It would not be an exaggeration if I said that there are at least dozens of bloggers operating from the United States,” Wassef said.”

SNIPPET: “LaRose is also linked to the online organization Revolutionmuslim.com — where she was a subscriber, again using the name Jihad Jane. The site is run by an American Muslim who has called the Army psychiatrist accused of a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, a hero.
A posting on the site Wednesday said: “Sisters — please consider sending her [LaRose] a message of support and hope and let’s remind her she isn’t alone. It’s likely she’s the only Muslimah there. As always, use discretion when writing, don’t ask pointed questions, and of course don’t say anything that could create problems for her or yourselves.””
“’Jihobbyists’ No More: English-Speaking Western Jihadists Coming of Age
By Evan Kohlmann
SNIPPET: “Perhaps the most ironic aspect of all the media attention in the latest criminal allegations against “Jihad Jane” is that Colleen LaRose of Pennsylvania is only the latest example of this odd emerging trend in homegrown terrorism. Indeed, LaRose is hardly alone in this category, whether we speak of London resident Samina Malik, an active user on jihadi social networking forums who busied herself with transcribed Al-Qaida training manuals into English during spare time at her job working in secure areas of Heathrow Airport—or Canadian citizen Beverly Giesbrecht (a.k.a. Khadija Abdul Qahhar), who was taken hostage by the Taliban during rather suspicious travels through North Waziristan. Both men and women who were once written off as hapless wannabes and mere “jihobbyists” are unexpectedly rising to the occasion, in often quite desperate bids to prove their total commitment to the cause.
These individuals are, more frequently than not, English-speaking with only a cursory knowledge of Arabic or the Middle East.”

Jihad Jane: “I won’t quit til Islam dominates the world; I never want peace with these filthy bastards” — Another Jawa Report Exclusive
Here’s a screenshot of one of Coleen “Jihad Jane” “Fatima” LaRose’s YouTube accounts from October of 2008.
I’ve gotten several media inquiries asking me whether I had any saved YouTube accounts or videos. The answer is no. But StarCMC did and she decided — for some unknown reason — that she wanted me to publish it and not her.
Who am I to pass up another exclusive?
If you click the thumbnail above you should be able to see the original version of it. If you’re from the media and you want to use the image, please cite “The Jawa Report” or “StarCMC” and for love of all that is holy is it too hard to ask that you link us when you give the credit?
I’ve transcribed what she wrote on her JihadJane4Life channel below. Is it just me, or do you think she’s a little annoyed that she kept getting pwn3d by we “Zionists, Zionist slaves, and haters”? Lulz.
With the exception of some spacing and emphasis, I’ve done nothing to alter the text. Spelling errors, therefore, belong to the author.
Inshallah i will always come back, no matter how many times i am suspended. This suspension BS is getting old!! but I wont quit till Islam finally dominates the WORLD!
****TO THE ZIONISTS&YOUR SLAVES****
GO TO HELL!!
you wiill NEVER stop Islam, nor the truth tellers form spreading the truth!!
If you are a zionist savage or a kafir
STAY THE HELL OFF MY CHANNEL!!
Asalam Alaikum my beloved brothers, sisters, &dear friends
Please do not tell me not to talk to the haters with hate. I am sick & tired of being suspended, for no friggin reason!! & I know it is the haters that have been getting me suspended!!
If you are friends with any kafir, or zionist, then there’s no need to accept or request friend invite with me. I am not talking about non-Muslims, as we all know non-Muslims does not always mean they are kafirs. If you just say to the haters that you only want peace, I assure you are wasting your time with these savages. I will never want peace with these filthy bastards... I wont wast one minute on
That’s some classic stuff right there!
Also, on a personal note .....
That pic never gets old.

SNIPPET: “Ms LaRose also was identified by the monikers “Fatima LaRose” and “JihadJane.” A MySpace page under the name “JihadJane” features a biography of a Pennsylvania woman who describes herself as having “reverted to Islam.”
“I live in Pennsylvania, originally from Texas. I have recently (a couple months) reverted to Islam and I can safely say that of all the things I have ever done in my lifetime, becoming Muslim is what i am the proudest of.”
Elsewhere, the user lists her heroes as “Skeikh OBL,” an apparent reference to Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, and “The brothers in... Jihad.””

“’JihadJane’ was laughable, Web watchers say”
By Larry King
Inquirer Staff Writer
SNIPPET: “For years, “JihadJane” had been a joke to those who kept tabs on her online.
She flirted with people who commented on the extremist videos she posted on YouTube.
When Web-monitoring groups learned her true identity, they laughed at photos of Colleen R. LaRose, the Muslim sympathizer from Montgomery County, quaffing beer in photos on her MySpace page.
But then she crossed a line.
According to the Web site JawaReport, a member of the online community monitoring LaRose became alarmed when she began soliciting funds through her Twitter account for terrorists.
That was enough for the person to contact the FBI in July, according to the administrator of JawaReport, who writes under the pseudonym “Rusty Shackleford” for personal security reasons.”

Second American female convert to Islam arrested in plot to kill Motoonist
“The face of jihad”
SNIPPET: “Yet another convert to Islam misunderstands the Religion of Peace and gets involved in this jihadist murder plot. “For the Love of Islam: A Second American Woman Is Arrested in Cartoonist Case,” by Vanessa O’Connell, Stephanie Simon and Evan Perez in the Wall Street Journal, March 13 (thanks to Pat):
Last Easter, Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, a 31-year-old mom with a $30,000-a-year job as a medical assistant, announced to her family that she had converted to Islam. A few months later, she began posting to Facebook forums whose headings included “STOP caLLing MUSLIMS TERRORISTS!””
SNIPPET: “On Sept. 11, she suddenly left Leadville, Colo., a small town in the Rocky Mountains, for Denver, then for New York, to meet and marry a Muslim man she connected with online, her family says. Ms. Paulin-Ramirez, who is 5-foot-11 and blonde, phoned her mother and stepfather in Leadville, providing them with an address in Waterford, Ireland, they say.”
SNIPPET: “In 2008 or 2009, Mr. Mott said, Ms. Paulin-Ramirez enrolled in an online course about Islam.”
SNIPPET: “By Easter 2009, she had informed her mother that she was a Muslim. At her father’s May 2009 funeral in Kansas, her aunts had to plead with her not to cover her head and hair with a hijab. Over the summer, her family says, she was spending increasing time on the computer and had begun to dress in the traditional garb, covering not only her hair and face but also her hands. Her current Facebook page lists her as Jamie Paulin, with a photo in which all that is visible are her eyes peering from slits in her full-face veil. [...]
A few months before she disappeared, her stepfather says he confronted her: “What are you going to do, strap a bomb on and blow up something?” he asked her. He recalled that she responded: “If necessary, yes.” [...]

“Arrested Muslims had prayer group plan”
By Cormac OKeeffe
Friday, March 12, 2010
SNIPPET: “SOME of the seven Muslims arrested as part of an international probe into an alleged plot to murder Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks had planned to set up an extremist prayer group in Waterford to radicalise other Muslims, gardaí believe.”
SNIPPET: “The seven four men and three women were arrested by armed gardaí on Tuesday in Waterford and Cork following a lengthy Garda investigation based on information provided by US intelligence agencies.
Five of the seven suspects three Algerians, one Libyan and one Palestinian had their periods of custody extended on Wednesday night on application to the courts for a further three days.
Two others a Croat and a US citizen had their detention periods extended for three days yesterday morning.”
SNIPPET: “Gardaí had the suspects and associates under surveillance for four months.
Investigators suspect that three of those arrested an Algerian, Croatian and Libyan were at “similar levels” in the group.”
SNIPPET: “Garda sources have confirmed the arrests are linked to the prosecution of American woman Colleen LaRose over an alleged plot to murder Mr Vilks. The woman, who went by the online name of “Jihad Jane”, visited Ireland last September for two weeks when she met some of those arrested.”
SNIPPET: “The computer experts are examining internet downloads on the computer and other documentation seized. Much of this is in Arabic and gardaí have contracted a company that provides interpretation services to the Gardaí to assist.”
