WASHINGTON, March 10 (Reuters) - It's rare when a conservative Republican in Congress heaps praise on President Barack Obama, especially in regards to fighting global warming, but Senator Lindsey Graham did just that on Wednesday.
The South Carolina lawmaker has, despite opposition from many in his party, worked with Obama and Democrats on a comprehensive energy and environmental bill, winning their support of more government aid for nuclear power and expanded oil and gas drilling.
Nuclear power and domestic oil production are at the core of Republican platforms.
"The president has been great to work with on energy and climate," Graham, a two-term senator, told reporters.
"I want to say this about the administration. They've been very reasonable on offshore drilling and nuclear power and they've been very reasonable at looking at a different way to price carbon."

Sarah Palin: Drill, baby, drill

Sarah Palin: Obama’s cap-and-trade energy plan threatens our economy and national security. We need to tap America’s sources of energy.
Good find, Rab. For all your hard workd, bless you.
The article is right. It IS rare when a conservative Republican in Congress heaps praise on BHO. Lindsay Graham can praise BHO all he wants, ‘cause Lindsay ain’t no conservative.
Graham is a lying son of a bitch. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2468252/posts
I have been unable to understand why even McCain is so determined to cement the Social Democrat Party into position as the governing Party in a One Party State. With Amnesty that is what we get and I don’t see any sort of rational thinking that can seriously posit any other result. It will make for that One Party until the “Hispanics” hive off to form a Mexican National Party which will not be any sort of improvement.
Gee if the democrats were blackmailing Massa because of “tousled an aide’s hair” you have to wonder what the heck was on Grahm’s FBI files, so that he rolls on his back like a little puppy for Harry Reid and Obama. They must have video of a live young boy or a dead girl........... Goat.
McCRap has to pretent to be a conservative right now so he had to send Leslie. I guess “if” McCrap wins he, Leslie, and Barry can have a threesome
Lindsey Graham isn't a conservative Republican. She is a liberal.
I’m SO glad McCain is not a Republican.
Any “concessions” Graham thinks he is gettting on drilling and nukes are not worth the paper they are written on. Too bad he wasn’t defeated in the primaries in 2008.
No doubt he is pushing to become the new pet poodle of the LSM as the “sensible Republican” on their Sunday talk shows, and the go-to guy whenever the want to shove a knife in the back of conservatism.
Cap and Trade, Amnesty, and a reported ‘deal’ to close Gitmo
Too bad he wasn’t defeated in the general. At least it would be honest that way.
Graham is a fool and “useful idiot”. Somebody needs to explain to him that AGW is a hoax, and he is going to go down in history as one of the biggest fools ever if he continues to buy into the AGW lie.
1) Cap & Tax
2) Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants
3) Closing Gitmo
I think Meghan would call him a Progressive Republican like her.
He is a Iucking Fdiot
Shame on South Carolina for electing him. He will not be elected to another term
When does the light-in-the-loafers dumb phuck Grahmnesty come up for re-election?
Lindsey should sue ETrade and leave us all alone.
Not until 2014.
Can SC recall this guy?
Hey South Carolina,
You keep voting this guy into office why?
Please spare us this RINO when he comes up in 5 years!
I don't think so.
But hey, at least we can tear down McCain this year. That should put a rather large dent in Graham's treachery.
Correct. A McCain loss will wad up Grahams panty hose.
Unfortunately, no. South Carolina does not have a recall law.
Can you vote a new law in there? Like California propositions?
Sorry, I don’t know. With SC being a conservative state, I’d guess if such a law was possible we’d have it.
At least SC gave us DeMint. He has fought Obama and his crony communists tooth & nail since day one.
I bet Lindsey will have the same glowing appreciation of the Obama administration about amnesty too!
Lindsey, like his mentor McCain, must be getting elected by democrats in SC.
Megga bump to Jim DeMint. Wish we could clone him.
99 should do it.
