Good morning.

Well, we’re here at the hotel. Mr. S is in the shower. He’s had a rough night. I know he’s worried. He never says much, but you can see it. The consolation is the knowledge that it’s a common procedure. He’ll be ok.

I am so appreciative of all of your prayers. Please, if I may ask, please continue to pray for an uneventful and successful surgery.

I should show Mr. S the comic book the retired 82nd soldier showed me on the way up to 14,000 ft for my first jump (tandem). The comic book showed nothing but comic book soldiers splatting the ground.....that's the kinda of sympathy I get in general in life, always.....LOL!!

I was terrified I'd freeze up there and do something wrong and kill us both....I didn't. But going out that door was like standing in salt water and grabbing a 220V wire. LOL!!

Tell Mr. S, it's the least I could do...be sure to let him see my 'jump' story.

Lot's of mater sandwiches to be had this summer.....get him thinking positive!

Son's Grand Am ...dosen't need the water pump any more. We started it but checked the oil first. Chocolate milkshake. It must have overheated and the head gasket is going. We're not going to put anymore money into it or his Wife's Z24 that has the same Quad 4 engine. It broke 2 years ago. A new engine was quoted at 3K so we've just been letting it sit.

So we're looking for someting cheap....have a couple of Camrys lined up at aroudn $2500...sigh.
