Would House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her fellow House Democratic leaders try to cram the Senate version of Obamacare through the House without actually having a recorded vote on the bill?
Not only is the answer yes, they would, they have figured out a way to do it, according to National Journal's Congress Daily:
"House Rules Chairwoman Louise Slaughter is prepping to help usher the healthcare overhaul through the House and potentially avoid a direct vote on the Senate overhaul bill, the chairwoman said Tuesday.
"Slaughter is weighing preparing a rule that would consider the Senate bill passed once the House approves a corrections bill that would make changes to the Senate version.
"Slaughter has not taken the plan to Speaker Pelosi as Democrats await CBO scores on the corrections bill. 'Once the CBO gives us the score, we'll spring right on it,' she said."
Each bill that comes before the House for a vote on final passage must be given a rule that determines things like whether the minority would be able to offer amendments to it from the floor.
In the Slaughter Solution, the rule would declare that the House "deems" the Senate version of Obamacare to have been passed by the House. House members would still have to vote on whether to accept the rule, but they would then be able to say they only voted for a rule, not for the bill itself.

The only explanation I can think of for the demrats insisting on on comitting political suicide is that they believe they will survive jamming Onadacare through. The only way that happens is if they have figured out how to ignore or otherwise negate the results of subsequent Constitutional elections.

Didn’t they vote, the first time around, to consider the bill “read”, even though they hadn’t read it, but there was a requirement to have read it? Some nonsense like that.
They have completely broken their trust with the American people.
The Slaughter solution would be an appropriate name for it — the Democrats would get slaughtered if they passed it.

There are plenty of dims in the Army and they are all led by General Diversity. If they are taking orders from Gen. Casey and Present zero now they won’t do a thing. They did nothing about the new ROE in Afghanistan. They will shut up and take orders and punch their tickets.

Most of the soldiers I have known in my 30+ years as an NCO and as a member of the DOD has shown you to be exactly wrong. The military will most probably do nothing, but it won't be because they side with the government. If a leader steps up and says that they (Congress) have abrogated the Constitution, there will be many who will be willing to march. We swore our allegiance to the Constitution first, not the President or Congress.
In these verses we actually see the second effect and detail regarding the man of lawlessness. The first was his unveiling, but this is quickly countered by the promise of his destruction by the manifestation of the parousia of Christ at His advent to earth. MMmmm. But I do seem te remember Boris Yeltsin sitting on top of a tank as the Russian flag supplanted the Soviet flag. The military did not stand with the old government.
Since when has the dems let something like our Constitution get in the way of anything they do ?
The whole ObamaCare bill and process has already violated the enumerated rights clause, the interstate commerce clause (both objections brought up by Sen. Ensign and Hutchinson, but overruled by dem votes on 23-Dec-09).
And last, but not least, the legislative "process" used to pass this violates Article 1, Sec 7 of the Consitution (The Healthcare bill passed by the Senate and sent back to the house is HR 3590, the Service Member's Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009, not HR 3962, the actual healhtcare bill passed by the house).
