And some of the schools in the list are bargains for private universities!

I got to see Sarah Palin speak at College of the Ozarks. I was very impressed by the civility and deportment of the students there.

If you are Jewish and at least somewhat religious, consider Yeshiva University. Very strong academics, and the best religious background available in Modern Orthodoxy. A lot of the kids attending have already gotten the message that liberals hate them, and have reacted accordingly.

Colorado Christian University in Denver is a gem. I have one child starting there this fall and possibly another a year later. NCAA div II athletics, fabulous academics and unabashedly Christian (not liberal anything goes Christianity either)

As a citizen of Massachusetts, a state that proudly proclaims itself a world-class center of learning, I am ashamed that not a single Mass. school is listed here....not a single one.
Something has gone terribly wrong.

Three of ‘em within a stone’s throw of Pittsburgh: Steubenville, Grove City and St. Francis.

Yeshiva is a good place to consider even if you aren't Jewish. My daughter looked into it. They treated us very nice and I came away impressed, even though we ultimately made another selection.

St. Vincent's is in our local area. However, I wouldn't exactly describe them as a conservative college. They do have a very impressive economics department and make a conscious effort to balance the extreme liberal bias in academia.

The fact that they have a very good balance and still make the top ten list of conservative colleges fairly consistently speaks volumes for just how politically unbalanced adademia has become.

It's particularly telling that not one single state supported college is on the list.

Also St. Vincents’— only about one hour’s drive from Pittsburgh.

I’d definitely check out St Vincent College or University of Scranton instead. Look at Mercyhurst’s student reviews:

You have to take the reviews with a grain of salt, but they are worth something. Also ratemyprofessors.com

What ever happened to Boston College ? It's supposed to be a good Catholic College...

Thanks, read those before and ignored them. From my visits, the school seems to be conservative leaning. I was looking for stats, but thanks for taking the time to comment.
