The citizens of this country have historically enjoyed a unique level of influence on their government. But we are now spectators before whom a cadre of floundering ideologues seeks to sever the trusts that make consensual governance consensual. The Democrats lost the public debate. Ask them if they care.
When Barack Obamas approval ratings plunged months back, Fouad Ajami wrote in the Wall Street Journal, The curtain has come down on what can best be described as a brief un-American moment in our history. If only that were so. In truth, the curtain came down on the publics compliance with our un-American moment. For our current leaders, the mission goes forward. Plan B, it turns out, is as alien to the American experience as Plan A. Having failed to reshape our democracy through demagoguery, Obama is attempting to subvert it by decree.

Very good little article. I must say, I knew Obama was a would-be dictator from day one, but I'm stunned at how the gloves are off now and he's not even hiding it. Like all of them, he has an inner cadre that is helping him carry it off (his mysterious WH staff and Pelosi and a handful of Senators). And they're all getting impatient and angry now. The masks are coming off.
Once 0bamao is allowed to rule by decree, he becomes a dictator!

That awakening has begun, and the tsunami force of it must sweep these people from the the offices which have enabled their arrogant attempts to snuff out the light of liberty!
