On Wednesday, February 17, Steve Christopher spoke to the Clermont County Central Committee in Batavia...In addition to the signatures I procured for him in Clermont, a few other people who had been circulating his petitions here as well as in neighboring counties, came to the meeting that night to hand-deliver them to Steve. I’m estimating that he had – from that stop alone – approx. 300 signatures from Clermont, Warren & Hamilton counties (combined). It was my understanding that Steve was going to drive to Columbus after the meeting – petitions in hand – and would file the next day. Somewhere between then and March 5th, those signatures ceased to exist, including my own and other committee members’ (which I know are valid)...

But according to our BoE, none were ever received from the SoS office. So where are those Clermont petitions? Where are the others? This isn’t about the validity of the signatures, it’s about signatures that never made it back to the counties for validation.

Sue the SOS for monetary damages. No doubt the candidate spent a nice chunk of change getting all those signatures put together and these incompentents just killed his election chances.

Take the SOS and their office to both civil and criminal court. That will teach them.

Benson was groomed to steal elections. It appears to have been her only goal in life and we need to start hammering on the SOS project hard because Soros is coming after our statehouses with little opposition. As it is we have several SEIU owned republican legislators in Michigan alone.

After receiving support for her proposals for early voting and no-reason absentee voting at the Michigan Democratic Party Convention [10] on February 21, 2009, Benson filed paperwork in March 2009, with the Secretary of State to create an exploratory committee for a campaign for Michigan Secretary of State in 2010

Benson is currently an Assistant Professor of Law at Wayne State University Law School, where she teaches Election Law. She is also an appointed member of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Election Law.[1] Being a member of the committee inspired her to create the Richard Austin Center on Election Law and Administration. The Austin Center, incorporated in October 2008, seeks to work with local election administrators to promote innovations and improve the election administration process in Michigan.

During the 2004 Presidential election, Benson was hired to develop the first nationwide Election Protection program for the Democratic National Committee. Benson selected, recruited, and trained Voter Protection coordinators in 21 states. The program resulted in deployment of over 17,000 trained election law lawyers.

After working with the Michigan Democratic Party's election protection effort in 2006,[3] Benson developed and supervised two statewide nonpartisan election protection efforts in Michigan in 2007 and 2008.[1] She worked with Michigan Democratic Party's election protection effort in 2006. During the 2008 election, she was called to testify before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee,[4] where she called on Secretary Terri Lynn Land to ban the use of foreclosure lists to challenge voters' eligibility on Election Day.[5] She is a frequent commentator on voting rights and election law on local news and radio broadcasts.
