Back to the shootin’ range... now the citizens pay for hospital treatment, food, clothing and shelter for this scumbag.
All in all still a happy ending, tho.

Gunshot wound to the neck, and it’s not life-threatening?
What did the homeowner use? A .22? This is where a shotgun would have been a better solution, you usually don’t give a person a non-life threatening neck wound with a shotgun blast.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said a robber became a victim Thursday night. Blatantly leftist media bias like this, and the moral elevation of victimhood, are why we are presently losing our Constitution and our rights. This very week.

Gunshot wound to the neck, and its not life-threatening?
There are a fair amount of non vital areas in the neck.

That headline is obviously wrong. It should say “Suspected Robber Shot, Denied Medical Treatment by Evil Insurance Companies”

There are a fair amount of non vital areas in the neck. Well, aside from the spinal column, the Carotid Artery, the esophogus and exterior Juglar veins there are only a few, small areas that are not life-threatening. Assuming that the bullet misses these targets, the shock of the bullet passing nearby should have ruptured or done damage to these structures. For example, a 9mm hollowpoint would likely have had a much different ending than this caliber gave.

True, but even a hollowpoint .45 might have only intersected .25 inches into the skin, or hit only muscle. It need not have been a solid pentration to result in bloody injury, or it might have been a lower powered caliber.
