US envoy cancels Mideast trip, Israel feud deepens

JERUSALEM A U.S. envoy's postponement of his Mideast trip appeared Tuesday to deepen one of the worst U.S.-Israeli feuds in memory even as Israel's foreign minister signaled his government had no intention of curtailing the contentious construction at the heart of the row.
Hundreds of Palestinians hurled rocks at police and set tires and garbage bins ablaze across the holy city's volatile eastern sector, where the construction is planned. Plumes of black smoke billowed and the air reeked of tear gas in the heaviest clashes in the city in months.
Youths in one east Jerusalem neighborhood hoisted a giant Palestinian flag and shouted, "We'll die in Palestine, Palestine will live."
Thousands of police, including anti-riot units armed with assault rifles, stun grenades and batons, were deployed across east Jerusalem to stifle the unrest. No serious injuries were reported.

I bet Pali and Arab housing are continuing to be built in Jerusalem.
Do Palestinians ever build anything?
Do Palestinians ever build anything?
Like to see where that $900 million went?
They couldn’t run a sanitary sewer...
Obama’s total hapless ineptitude has given the green light to the Pali’s and other Arabs to raise hell.
Almost? He sat in a “church” that preached how evil and piggy jews were, he could care less about Israel.
Stay strong, Israel. Stay strong, Bibi. Don’t let the Kenyan win on this.
Aren't they one and the same?
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Palestinians were Arabs kicked out of Jordan and Syria?
You mean...you mean...someone is trying to blame the Jews for something? Wow, is that ever novel (/s). Sigh.
...According to Mark Perry writing in Foreign Policy, one of the main parties in Washington calling for Barack Obama to put his foot down against Israels settlement expansion, even before Vice-president Joe Bidens recent call, has been General David Petraeus. In the Pentagons view, the Obama administrations inability to stop the expansion of settlements is eroding Americas military posture in the Middle East. Such erosion could embolden Muslim extremists to increase their attacks on US forces in the region.
Petraeus wanted to confront the settlements by getting the US government to include the Palestinian issue under his command in Centcom. This was denied. Obama preferred to let George Mitchell and Biden handle it.
But when Biden heard Israels recent announcement of plans to expand housing in East Jerusalem, he decided to be frank. He openly told Israels prime minister: What youre doing here undermines the security of our troops who are fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
American concern about the settlements issue having an impact on the security of its forces could have two major impacts on Israels Iran policy.
One is that due to this increasing concern for the security of its soldiers, and the need to increase its credibility in the region, the US may place the settlement issue as part of its strategy to isolate Iran...
Zero were goading Israel
He will eternally regret that decision!
There were a few places in which Joshua disobeyed the above instruction from God. I have not personally done the research to verify this, but I heard in a sermon that if you look at a biblical-time map of where Joshua allowed the inhabitants to stay, then transpose those locations onto a modern map, the places equate to the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Golan Heights.
Has anyone here personally researched this point? I strongly suspect that Joshua's disobedience on this commandment is exactly where the "Palestinian" issue tracks back to, but I'd love to see this kind of correlation on a map myself.
Obama’s US, worldwide rep:
More Hated Than Bush.
I found this essay interesting, written by Joseph Farrah (?)
True history? I can not say that, only interesting.
Thanks for posting. I'll read that later when I have time.

Joshua 9 is the record of the Gibeonite deception. In Judges 2:20 - 23, the recording of the Canaanites being a snare for the lack of faithfulness is prophesized.
