I’m going to regret this, I know... but what does “intersex” mean? I don't know for sure, because this stuff changes faster than you can keep up with if you're not a gay activist. But I suspect that it means someone who is in transition between sexes, or maybe someone who is halfway in between and hasn't yet decided.

I believe “intersex” is someone with both male and female characteristics. e.g. a hermaphrodite would be intersex.
