Caribou Barbie (new Ray Stevens song about Sarah Palin alert)
YouTube ^

Throw out that tax and spend jackass and vote in the caribou ... HERE.
The video is a slow load at the present time -- probably due to band width demands.
If you find this to be the case, you might want to watch the The Great Reneger song about the Wee Wee.

Got lyrics, for the bandwidth-impaired?
To: Zakeet
Ray Stevens is just way ahead of his time. And so funny. I respect the guy. Ok so he was on Huckabee but I still respect him.

Got lyrics, for the bandwidth-impaired? Unfortunately, in both cases, no.
As far as I can tell, they're still too new.
Give them a few days and both will be all over the net.
Sorry.

Good thing he’s on Palin’s side. If he was slamming her, it wouldn’t go over very well in Branson.
To: lentulusgracchus
I'm interested myself ... here's a couple verses I found ...
Palin for President
has a nice ring to it.
Obama shelved in 2012
and you and I can do it.
A President with common sense
now thatd be somethin new.
Throw out that tax and spend Jackass
Vote in the Caribou.

Reneger mmm, I'm reminded of the a comment a black friend of mine made to my cajun wife years ago when she used the n word and after he had said that wasn't nice she said, you just used it a little while ago an he said, BUT IT'S THE WAY YOU SAY IT. Did Ray slip one in here? Stand by folks, I think that is what will be alleged

My husband said there was a country-western singer scheduled on Huck that was to sing a song against the president last Saturday. Anyone see it? We missed seeing it by a couple of minutes ...

I like Ray but he hasn’t been a “big” star for 30 years. Unless you were being sarcastic.

I wasn’t being sarcastic. Once a big star always a big star in Nashville. People know him. He was and is a big star even if he hasn’t had big hits lately.
Look at ‘em parading out Beverly Bivens of WE FIVE (circa ‘65, ‘66). She didn’t have as many hits as Ray and yet she was a big star and has plenty of fans today.

Well, we can at least agree that Ray wasn’t being niggardly in his satire.

Harold Ray Ragsdale would never be niggardly, he is of too big a nature for that. He slices the cheese thick.

I really like Palin, but the more she campaigns for that damn RINO McCain, the less likely I am to vote for her in a primary, especially if the bastard gets re-nominated.

Hey, thanks a lot ... my husband likes Lynyrd Skynyrd; he's going to enjoy the video ... if you stumble on the lyrics, ping me please; I'm looking around online for them.
Maybe you saw that YouTube has closed captions now in Beta, but they're having a little difficulty with singing groups :):) like one or two words are coming up ...
