I managed to get through to Congressman John Barrow's Washington office to urge him to vote against both the Reconciliation Bill and the Slaughter Rule. The person I talked to said that the Slaughter Rule was dead. I asked when that happened, and he said "As of 15 minutes ago." That was about half an hour ago when I spoke with him. I searched Free Republic for news of this and found nothing. Also nothing on Google News.
So was he mistaken? Has anyone else heard anything on this?
That’s what I thought too. Maybe the idea of having the Slaughterhouse Rule challenged in court, and having Obamacare overturned by the Supreme Court because of it, is scaring some wavering Dems into the Yes column.
Or this could just be the rumor of the hour.
No, NRO is saying the opposite - that we can still kill this monstrosity.
The Slaughter ploy has back-fired badly, there is increasing anger at the House RAT leadership, and they are still down 17 votes.

My Congressman’s office just told me he is undecided. But he’s voted with Pelosi 100%, so I’m not buying it.

Call the district offices, as well. They need to know that they will exact a political price if they pass this bill. I told my RAT congressman’s office this morning that if this bill becomes law, they can plan to clean out their desks on November 3.
What if SE Mom says it's so? Do we still check?
Napolitano on Fox just said the Slaughter Rule will be used to pass bill and that the courts will NOT intervene, claiming that only Congress can end/change ObamaCare.

I have just sent emails to five others. I am watching Cavuto and DrO just told me the vote has been post-poned.
