Example number 214 of why we love Morning Joe: Willie Geist reported on this mornings program of Miley Cyrus slamming co-host Mika Brzezinskis condemnation of the teen-starlets pole dance last summer. Not only was Joe Scarborough sitting back and watching Mikas stunned reaction in amusement, but so too was Mikas father Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former cabinet member under President Carter. Good times!
In this weeks issue of Parade magazine, Miley says of Mika:
"My impulse is to say get off my case Mika. Get over it my job is first to entertain, and do what I love. And if you dont like it, then change the channel. Im not forcing you to watch me. Im not forcing you to talk about me. I would do that pole dance a thousand times because it was right for that song and that performance. But dude, if you think that dancing on top of an ice cream cart with a pole is bad, then go check out what 90 percent of High Schoolers are really up to. Its funny. I dont know if a lot of parents remember what they were like as kids. But Im like dude! As if you were an angel!

Mika, OTOH, while a liberal pain-in-the-@ss, is not unpleasant to look at. Just saying.
But, dude!
I tore up all the Hannah Montana stuff my kids had. Then grandmother bought a replacement item and I torched it, too.
Mika is fine with selling out America and wants to be our nanny.
UGH BLECH
Nothing could make me watch Morning Poison.
I’m not a miley fan and wouldn’t listen to her or watch her if she was the only thing available, but you are whining about her personal choices in her career and calling her slutty, while judging another woman, who you admit is a liberal “pain in the ass” based only on your opinion of her looks. I think you are the slut here
Don’tya just love it when an “anything goes liberal” arbitralily takes a moral stand? I don’t know a whole lot about Mika, but she does seem to be coming around to a more moderate POV on some things. Maybe this is a reflection of that?
Dude, you are a spoiled brat and so hung up on yourself! What I can’t stand is how her Dad, Billy Ray, and his wife love to show us what a great Christian family they are and their little daughter is pushed to act like a little arrogant B! Obviously they let her do what ever she wants and is she even 16 yet? Sad!

Miley and Mika are both out of my home viewing.
None of this would be happening without “Achy Breaky Heart.”
Except you've left out their 30-year age gap. Kind of material, dontcha think?
I'm not a prude. Men like attractive women, and women in politics and media trade off their sexuality. That's the cultural reality.
It's quite something else having a 16-year old girl play the part of pole-dancer on national television.
This shows what a child she is: "If you think what I'm doing is bad, LOOK at what THEY are doing!". Still using a child's justification. Mom and Dad need to step up here. Ah but the money is good!
quite interesting to see the expressions on the faces of these girls in the audience. Hey Miley! You might want to take some time to reflect on just how much of an impact your behavior has on the behavior of your peers who watch you.
Dude, I’m like all over this, I mean, you should see what like the other kids are doing! I mean, like, Dude, ya know?
(/Miley)
Oh, please. We’ve seen published shots of her in her bra, a photo of her with her father that looks completely incestuous, and a “glamour shot” that makes her look like a prostitute after a rough night.
Fortunately, my daughters dumped her immediately after that soft porn photo shoot.
Oops. Please forgive my last post. Your pic didn’t show up before I replied, so I missed the sarcasm. :)
It’s so sad to even be having this conversation. Young girls should be young girls— not sex bombs...
On free dress day a few years ago one of the 2nd graders wore jeans that had the word sexy running up each outer leg & in big letters on each back pocket.
Sad,sad, sad....
My wife and I are raising our oldest granddaughter. She is 10 (be 11 in June). We have done a good job of avoiding purchasing inappropriate clothing - until recently, that is. She was wearing this hooded Tinkerbell sweatshirt that my wife had recently purchased. I noticed that it had in big letters the word, “FLIRT” on the back, with some smaller letters forming a phrase (I can’t recall the exact words right now) relating to being a flirt. I asked my wife if she knew what was written on the sweatshirt. She replied no, that she only noticed the price when she made the purchase. I commented that this would be the last time we’d be buying clothes without fully checking them for appropriateness. My granddaughter will no longer be wearing that sweatshirt.
Their ages don't matter - it is your behavior I'm commenting on.
Taking note of a woman's physical aesthetic is now behavior?
Perhaps you'd feel more at home on the NOW web-page.
I make no apologies for being a heterosexual male.
Miley is a product of her parents.
I'm thankful my Marine is man enough to be able to consider a hate spewing liberal woman as ugly enough inside for it to turn him off to her on the outside. Perhaps you need to work on that part of your personality and not just chalk it up to being heterosexual. Real men can tell the difference.
I'm not "making fun of anyone". I'm commenting on the very public behavior of a minor child. I'm sorry you can't discern the difference.
To equate that to commenting on the appealing physical appearance of a woman well into her 40's, is a stretch.
Like I said before, real men can tell the difference between real beauty and hatred bubbling just below the surface.
If Miley wasn’t famous for whatever reason, do you know what she would be?
A baby sitter somewhere.
A knocked-up babysitter.
Rush has a name for women who think like that, Feminazis.
Mylie is on her way to becoming a porn star.
She took off her shirt for Vanity Fair... come on. she was like 15 or 16.
