So, Bought-cheri, what was your price? An Ambassadorship? A cush job in a regulatory agency?

This guy was figured in as a “yes” previously from what I understand—but all this hype to allow them to broadcast their ‘yes’ is pure manipulation.

Sure enough, he cheesily thanked his mom.

Yes they are using the media to create a momentum that may or may not exist. God help us against this evilness and the media who advances their cause without question.

An undecided going “yes” is not that big a deal. A “no” going “yes” is problematic ... but we only need to pick off a few more undecideds to “no” for this thing to fail.

An article yesterday showed us needing 38 Democrat “no” votes to kill it ... and we had 36 solid Democrat “no”s already. There remained 45 that were undeclared, including this schmuck. We only need to pick off a few of that 45 ... they need virtually ALL of that 45.

He voted no in November, they are all such phoney leftists.

What is the difference between a republican “caving “ and a democrat? Simple . . . A republican will “cave” for any reason at all. A democrat requires big bucks to sell his or her vote!

Yep, these democrat congresscritters don’t have the slightest concern for their constituents. All they care about it maintaining a good relationship with the democrat establishment so they can get a cushy, high-paying job at some think tank or college after they ultimately lose an election some day. The liberals are totally corrupt now, with no concern for their country and the future of our nation. It’s all about them and their miserable little careers. They will go down in history as trivial people with no courage, no intelligence, and no leadership ability.

These last minute hold outs coming out saying they will vote FOR it doesn't bode well... if they thought that it would be defeated ... why would they stick their necks out and publicly say they would have voted for it, only to have it defeated, but still have to defend that decision in the election?

If the vote was truely in doubt... 10 or more blue dogs would stay undecided until the actual vote, then simultaneously flip once it hits the magic number.

I doubt it. I’m sure they have enough votes to pass this monstrosity of legislation. Media reports that they’re short of votes are lies deliberately leaked by the Dem leadership in an attempt to keep the American people quiet and preserve their yes votes for the final vote. I’m afraid this disaster is going to pass and the only way to ultimately stop it is for the GOP to take control of the House in November and then repeal the whole thing.

From what I just read, this bill contains tax increases on investment income earned by upper income people to pay for medicare. Those taxes, along with the end of the Bush tax cuts, are going to push the total marginal tax rate on investment income up over 50% for high income people in many states. That’s a disastrous idea for America. Who does Pelosi think are the risk-taking investors who build the new companies that have created all the news jobs in American since 1981? It’s not the gangbangers, union slobs, and government bureaucrats who invest in new companies and build our economy. It’s the high income entrepreneurs and investors who create economic growth. Pelosi, Reid, and Zero know zilch about economics and free enterprise. They are socialists who only know how to screw over productive people, steal their income and wealth, and redistribute it to unproductive slobs who never worked in school, never built up their skills & knowledge, and can’t get good jobs now.

We must take control of the House in 2010 and repeal this monstrosity and the associated tax increases and income redistribution schemes, and send idiotic Nancy back to SF to be just another dumb democrat congresscritter.

If they think so, they’re chumps. The day after the election (in fact, by Monday) they are useless to Obama and he won’t give them anything.

Lots of these Congressmen don’t know how the Chicago Way works.

Everytime they peel off a YES, another NO steps forward. They are making very little progress.

However, I hear they are back to negotiating with Stupak.

As a citizen of the 16th district, I apologize.
I didn’t vote for this clown and I never will.

Shortly before the election in 2008, a foreigner came to the door one evening, urging us to vote for this tool and BHO. The non-American on my porch claimed John Bought-cheri was a war hero and deserved my vote.

Interesting reasoning since he felt John McCain’s service to my country didn’t matter.

At least I now might have an option: http://www.renacciforcongress.com/Issues/Health_Care

My point is that there is no reason for someone who knows they will lose in November to vote for this (or announce that they will) unless they know for sure that it is going to pass.

It's one thing to lose your job to push something through you truely believe in... it's something else entirely to lose it for nothing.

Undecideds ANOUNCING to me.. says they now have the votes... but maybe your right and they are just trying to be cleaver and trick to the others into flipping also.

They’ll pass the monstrosity. All the reports of a lack of votes are disinformation intended to keep the American people quiet and uninformed until they suddenly schedule a final vote and jam the bill through congress. These liberals have no respect for productive, hard-working Americans. This is all about them and their miserable little careers.

Boccieri will likely end up a one-termer. He is from Youngstown, and did not run for Traficant's seat when it was open, preferring to stay in Ohio state politics. He carpetbagged to the 16th District when incumbent Republican Ralph Regula retired.

Boccieri is a pro-union, pro-choice Catholic Democrat who models his politics on Dick Gephardt. He aligned with the Blue Dogs only because he was in a red district.

I think fake Blue Dogs in red districts who won on Obama's coattails in 2008 will find it very hard running this year. Alan Grayson is toast. Eric Massa has imploded, and will likely be replaced by a Republican in the special election. Bill Owens' election is a fluke and he will be toast.

Even the NO vote holdouts will find things tough. Parker Griffith has already flipped parties. Bobby Bright is toast regardless of how he votes.

Boccieri is one of the 'rats Beetle Bailey cannonfodder who exists solely due to the Obama ticket dragging him into office. He is a cipher and predictably a pushover in the end. He represents a degenerate, down at the heel democrat skank district, and may even retain his seat, only because nobody gives much of a damn about anything but their own belly in the slovenly backwaters he represents.

You misrepresent Boccieri’s district as much as he does. I live in the district, and he will not be reelected in November. Ralph Regula represented this district well for many years. Boccieri is a poor excuse who rode in on Zero’s coattails. Not going to happen again.

From your name, of course, I see you must live in Ohio. Come south about 40 miles, and see for your self. Or perhaps we should just sic the buzzards on your @__.
