Pelosi Rejects Stupak Deal to Remove Abortion Funding From Senate Bill
Washington, DC -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has, once again, rejected a plea from Rep. Bart Stupak to agree to a deal to remove the abortion funding from the Senate health care bill in exchange for support for it. Stupak and other pro-life Democrats have been hoping to strike the abortion funding in exchange for support.

Rep. Stupak, there’s a whole hell of a lot more wrong with this bill than tax-paid abortions.
It will be added late Sunday morning and the Stupak group will vote yes! Unless they are looking for a way for it to fail and they will use language over abortion as the reason the bill failed. Everyone then saves face until November.
Let’s hope Dizzy Nancy’s rejection of Stupak’s request is the kiss of death for this dastardly piece of commie legislation.
I just heard a Nun on Neil Cavuto say that abortion provision isn’t in the bill and we must pass health care because that’s what Jesus would do. I thought I would throw up. Jesus never, EVER in His whole ministry forced charity. It must come from the heart.
Yes, but he can now oppose it (I hope) and still have coverage with his own little electorate. By changing the Senate bill, he was trying to push this abomination back to the Senate where it would die.

The greatest thing about this is if Stupak and his group stand firm, it will be the Pro Death group that have doomed the bill.

Oh, there is NO provision for abortion. Oh no. And 50 million people are uninsured and 45,000 people die every year because they don’t have health care.
