10 AM Rules Committee meeting (C-span2 LIVE all day)
11 AM Stupak press conference
12 PM Demonstration at the Capitol
3 PM Obama meets with the Democratic caucus
Sunday
2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.

Slaughter tried to lie about Ryan’s ‘Roadmap’ plan and say he was going to kill Medicare altogether. He basically called her out and exposed her lies...lol. She is interrupting now to try and lie some more. Ryan is doing a great job!

I don’t think she has the Votes. The mere fact she’s talking with Stupak last night tells me they aren’t there yet.

Well...that was my FIRST reaction. It could be wishful thinking- but I think he backed off because he wouldn’t cave- and Nancy wouldn’t budge. She loses 40 plus if she gives in to Stupak- and only gains 12 if she does. There is NO compromise.
Slaughter is trying to raise Paul Ryan’s hackles...she asked him a questions and now will NOT allow him to answer.

News about the Congressman Stupak controversy I just got this note from my FNC colleague John Brandt - it contains the latest on the Stupak/abortion/ federal funding controversy:
A group of pro-choice women just exited the Speaker’s office and said that another vote on the Stupak language is not going to happen.
There are rumblings that his 1100 newser is cancelled as well, but we don’t have that confirmed.

Two pro-life GOP members close to Stupak tell NRO that any Stupak deals are off. They just spoke with him and they said he’s finished with Pelosi. They rejected his enrollment corrections proposal.

It could also be that enough pro-abort Dems said they’d change their vote if Nazi Pelosi went with Stup. and they figured it didn’t help to gain 12 and lose 40.
