I think these men are lying through their teeth. All I can hear is 'kill the bill' and booing. Personally I think they chose there path to the capital on purpose in hopes of hearing the 'n' word.

A video has surfaced this evening of the incident today involving civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) and Tea Party protesters on Capitol Hill.
Rep. Lewis has alleged that he was called a n***** by the protesters.
Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN), who was walking with Rep. Lewis, says he heard the word n***** fifteen times.
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) claims "It was a chorus" of people yelling "n*****."
The video, filmed by Marooned in Marin and posted at YouTube, shows Reps. Lewis and Carson walking together, with Rep. Cleaver several yards behind as they fight their way through the Tea Party patriots like they were in 1965 Selma, Alabama.
Reps. Chaka Fattah (D-PA) and Maxine Waters (D-CA) are also walking behind Lewis in the video.

This is the tactic they also use when they feel threatened. It’s not going to work for them forever. There was no racism there.

I didn’t hear any racial slurs at all.
I didn’t hear the alleged epithets in the tape. It would probably feel to the black legislators, particularly John Lewis, like crossing the bridge in Selma. If it was tea partiers behaving as accused, they may have destroyed the effort to kill the bill. With radical groups given permits for Washington today, could this be race card street theater?

But in the meantime these protesters are just tea-baggers, racists, astroturf, nazis, homophobes, nativists, vigilantes, etc.
I heard the word a few times too, but everyone saying it was black and they didn’t look like they were with us. I wanted to as them if that was an okay word again, but decided to save my ammo.
I only heard “Kill the Bill”. Maybe you have to listen to it backwards or something to hear the bad stuff. Maybe they really said “I buried Paul”.
Did I miss something? I just listened to this clip 3 times — NO “N” word, no racist language — just a LOT of unhappy Tea Party Patriots yelling KILL THE BILL.

Yeah I heard that too, but it was so unintelligible that you could not make anything out. I’m not even sure what the guy shouted.
Lewis was playing the latest from 50 Cent on his IPod, and the N-word was spoken every other line. He’s evidently confused.
It’s my understanding the complainants are all members of the CBC which IIRC is a group that has repeatedly abused the race card advantageously multiple occasions in the past.
