I’d say this video is “unbelievable,” but it’s not unbelievable that members of the most corrupt Congress in the history of the known universe don’t care about laws, rules, procedures, or our Constitution.
Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL), who you might remember as a disgraced former judge who was impeached (by a Democrat Congress) for taking bribes:
There ain’t no rules here, we’re trying to accomplish something. . . .All this talk about rules. . . .When the deal goes down . . . we make ‘em up as we go along.
We know Hastings likes to make up his own rules, he belongs in prison...I’d like to see him making up his own rules there.
I saw the video, exactly as described.
Conservatives go by the rules.
We do and shall, its what we are.
The left, the liberals, the deemocrats, they care not for the rules, the laws or the consequences.
From an usurper such as Obama who is still technically NOT eligible to be POTUS all the way down.
And he made these remarks while sitting on the Rules Committee. I can only wonder if this was a defense of the Slaughter Solution.

Don't forget he was impeached and removed from office when he was a FEDERAL Judge for corruption and perjury. He was only the sixth Federal Judge to be removed from office in the history of the United States. How this guy qualifies to be a member of Congress is beyond me......
Hastings should be in prison, but instead he is in a house of ill repute.
In Hastings case, he was elected to a district that was created after the 1990 census. If we had any investigative reporters left someone should look into this and see if ACORN was involved.....
He probably was “deemed” the winner for his House seat!
Maybe the other guy won — who knows. But perhaps the Secretary of State in FLA “deemed” him the winner after consultations with Pelousy!

I would really like to see the full context of that quote. There is almost a plaintive quality to it that, to me, might suggest he was saying, "I don't know what's going on here. I don't like how this is being done. 'We just make up rules as we go along.'"
It's possible he was bragging or crowing but it just doesn't ring true considering the tone.
Of course, this doesn't take away from the fact that he's going to vote for it. Or, that the dems are simply spitting all over the Constitution. Or, that these reps are giving the U.S. the finger.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

Alcee is just telling the truth. We are following the road to Zimbabwe. BO is merely part of the team which seeks to oppress the average freedom-loving citizen. His team consists of the super-rich (eg Soros), the limo-libs in the Sodom called Hollywood, and american-hating old media, libs and progs. These are our enemies, make no mistake, all of them our enemies.
