California is due for a rebound. I’ve been talking with some minorities about how they have been sold into the slavery of government hand-outs by the democrats.

It could be as many as 36 states involved in a lawsuit to stop the H.R. 3200 mandates. Gawd, that's almost enough to call a constitutional convention!

Orange County might object, so maybe it would have to be carved out in a new Orange Free State.

Friend, there are a lot more red counties in California, than blue. If you want to carve out just the red parts, you'd wind up with most of the state intact.

Get outside California's major population centers, and it's a lot like any other flyover country in the nation.

The Romans were able to keep their republic for 500 years. It failed when power hungry politicians seeking support from the poor promised to spread the wealth. Constitutional conventions were ignored which lead both sides to resort to force to advance their interests. After a generation of civil wars the republic was in shatters, being replaced by a military dictatorship we know as the empire. Pray that we do not follow the same course.

California is the state that gave us Ronald Reagan and Free Republic. I say we take it back from the rats, rather than give it to the Chicoms.

As a native Californian, I thank you for injecting that bit of pure common sense into this conversation.

Upon passage by the Senate the HCR “Health Care Freedom Act” becomes a constitutional amendment to be placed on and voted in the Missouri Nov ballot.

Dallas proper is solid blue these days, but just north of Dallas County is Collin County, which is still conservatively red. It’s one of the fastest growing areas of the country, and where you want to be, if you’re thinking of moving to this region.

“District 22”

Isn’t that down south? I’m in Collin County, Congressional District 4.

Can’t blame you for wanting to get away from the Obots. We’ve got some, too, but we surround ‘em up here.

The rats have the numbers and already stripped away your firepower.

Better to fall back, let the place collapse with the rats eating each other, then advance and retake it.

Only fools fight in a burning house - and California is already on fire.

It’s in Fort Bend County, right outside of Houston. The rep from district 9 is the male version of Sheila Jackson Lee. Need I say more?

The right to secede predates the formation of Texas; indeed, it predates the United States itself.

Ya’ll mite wanna close that Mexican border First!...

Yeah, we definitely gotta work on that.

I'd like to see our legislature do what Oklahoma's did, and cut the illegals off from every form of gov't assistance. They self-deported in a huge wave before the OK Governor could even sign the bill into law.

Take away every advantage to being here, and we won't have to have more than the occasional trooper on the southern border to stop illegals. The narco gangs are another story...

That’s likely their Governor driving that action... face it, if this bill increases costs for a state they have to go against it.

Arizona - "As the U.S. House of Representatives prepares for what may be its final vote on a health care bill, Republican Gov. Jan Brewer and Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema sounded off on the contentious proposal. Brewer, who earlier in the day signed a bill that will strip more than 310,000 Arizonans of Medicaid coverage while taking 47,000 children off of KidsCare, stood in front of the old Capitol building on March 18 and railed against a health care bill that she said will add $4 billion to the state’s overstretched budget."

I’ve always told my managers that I won’t move from PA because my family is here, but increasingly I’ve been wondering if I can get a transfer to TX (assuming there’s work for me there).
