I think the GOP establishment will form a ring of protection around Mitt with Mitt ordering his many surrogates to go out on TV and radio and criticize Sarah Palin to deflect the attention off him. But this probably won’t happen right away because she has an engagement to help McCain in a week. But once that is over and we get closer to the SRLC I predict we will see him ramp up his attacks on her, and with the MSM in his corner it might just work for the time being. Long-term I’m not so sure, because Palin is a survivor. If Obama couldn’t take her out, Romney isn’t going to do it either. But if Obama and Romney team up against her, I don’t know.
