The difference today is that we have a law enforcement and criminal justice system that are FAR better armed (and infinitely better organized) than the citizenry, and whose goal is to keep order no matter what. Until that changes, I don’t see much resisting going on.

Healthcare was s single party act of tyranny over the wishes of the people. Nothing should be “normal” until they retract the act.

We have “Tea Parties” which are nothing but politically correct family picnics, really.
I’ve tried to organize in my area for something a little more spirited than the lame “Tea Parties” and struggle to get even a hundred people to sign-up.

Sorry Windcatcher, by all accounts ... hell, by any account, the citizens of the United States are far better armed than the law enforcement community! Last year the citizens bought some fourteen million guns! The combined police agencies of all the ststes can’t come close to that number.
The difference though is in the training and leadership. That’s where the cops have the edge. Whether that edge is great enough is a question none of us really want to have answered.

Try having all your bank accounts frozen and assets seized, and having to live under a bridge and eat from dumpsters. Any productive measure needs to first acknowledge the *real* risks that one faces.
My first recommendation is that, if you don't have one already, start a diet and exercise program. While doing that learn some skills that can be sold on a cash-only basis - skills that can be advertised on craigslist.
While doing these things, however, play by the rules as best you can and keep your powder dry until the Nov election (or until they pass amnesty, whichever comes first - if the illegals are given the vote then there's no use waiting for the election).
