MORRIS: A crushing burden on blacks (Amnesty)
Washington times ^ | Mar. 22, 2010 | Frank L. Morris Sr.

Joblessness can be traced to competition from foreign workers

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) recently made the trip ... for a chat with a former member of the caucus, President Obama.

Chief among the concerns of black lawmakers is the president's failure to address a black unemployment rate . Sixteen percent of black workers are unemployed, and among black teens, a staggering 44.9 percent are out of work.

There is ample blame to be laid at the White House door, but the 43 members of the CBC who represent largely black constituencies also bear a large share of the responsibility. While some 8 million existing U.S. jobs are estimated to be held by illegal aliens, the CBC, like Mr. Obama, has consistently opposed tough enforcement of laws against employing illegal aliens.

.. the CBC marches in lockstep with the interests that promote illegal immigration. Since taking office last year, Mr. Obama has all but halted immigration enforcement in the workplace - a policy that enjoys the support of the CBC.

The CBC also has been front and center in the effort to enact amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and throw open the doors to still higher levels of future immigration. Rep. Yvette D. Clark, New York Democrat, whip of the CBC, stood shoulder to shoulder with Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, as he unveiled an illegal alien amnesty bill that would provide nothing for black Americans.

The CBC also should be the vanguard of the effort to reduce overall levels of immigration to the United States. During the 2000s, the growth of our labor force - fueled by the highest levels of legal and illegal immigration in our nation's history - outpaced the growth of jobs in our economy. ....it is black workers who have suffered the most.

In my small hometown in Arkansas blacks make up around 70 to 80% of the population. Unemployment rate is probably 80% among blacks. A man came to town and opened a small “factory” making modular homes. He couldn’t find workers and moved to the hills. One 18 year old kid told my brother-in-law “They wanted me to be at work at 7:30 so I quit”.

Not racist. Just fact.

What are you asking? Talk to some decent Black Americans in those areas. Their kids can’t get hired because they speak English. “I have little sympathy for blacks that are being “ethnically cleansed” as many of us have family and friends who were, under threat of violence, ethnically cleansed from their neighborhoods by the same ghetto blacks in the past.”

So the SAME blacks that cleansed your neighborhood are the SAME blacks now being pushed out by illegal aliens??

C’mon, Clemenza, that’s like me saying...’Screw ALL white men, because they’re the SAME ones who cleansed by Cherokee relatives.”

NOT the same. None of us will progress until we get the chips removed from our shoulders.

The ‘Black community’s’ biggest problem is that same perception....it’s all YT’s fault.

“Latinos run the businesses in So. Cal... “

I said "what?" to your comment above....

Now if you want to say Latinos run some/most businesses in El Monte, or Compton, etc..etc...I'd be in some agreement.

But that's not what you said...and that's why I replied the way I did.

[snip]According to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau data, Hispanics are opening businesses at a rate three times faster than the national average. And, what was once regarded as a minority group now represents the fastest-growing segment of the nation’s economy.

The corollary of this is that more and more government resources dedicated to helping Hispanic entrepreneurs start-up, operate and grow, are becoming more widely available both in local communities and on the Internet

Get Local, Expert Start-Up Advice en Espanol

If you are thinking of starting a business or are already engaged in the early stages of business ownership, get valuable in-person advice as well as networking opportunities from numerous local organizations who specialize in promoting the growth of Hispanic businesses through training, advice, and loan assistance, and more.

Here are a few to consider:

* Minority Business Development Centers (MBDC) - Funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA),, etc, etc, etc.

If its the blacks being pushed out of Compton, CA, Elizabeth, NJ, or Paterson, NJ, then yes, they are the same. Upwardly mobile, decent black folk mostly left those places before the Latinos arrived, leaving behind largely refuse.

Ethnic Cleansing in L.A.
Acting on orders from the Mexican Mafia, Latino gang members in Southern California are terrorizing and killing blacks.
January 20, 2007 |

Los Angeles, Calif. —

What Prudhomme will never forget is that just past the snarling Doberman is the apartment on a hill where six years ago her 21-year-old son Anthony was shot in the face with a .25-caliber semi-automatic while lying on a futon she had purchased for him from IKEA. He died wearing a shirt that read, “Keep the Peace.”

Anthony Prudhomme was slain by members of the Avenues, a Latino street gang. But he was not a rival gang member, or a police informant, or a drug dealer. The Avenues did not target him for the content of his character, or even the contents of his apartment.

They targeted him for the color of his skin.

Prudhomme was murdered because he identified himself as black (he was in fact mixed-race) in a neighborhood occupied by one of the many Latino street gangs in Los Angeles County. Incredibly, even though these gangs are fundamentally criminal enterprises interested mainly in money, gang experts inside and outside the government say that they are now engaged in a campaign of “ethnic cleansing” — racial terror that is directed solely at African Americans.

“The way I hear these knuckleheads tell it, they don’t want their neighborhoods infested with blacks, as if it’s an infestation,” says respected Los Angeles gang expert Tony Rafael, who interviewed several Latino street gang leaders for an upcoming book on the Mexican Mafia, the dominant Latino gang in Southern California. “It’s pure racial animosity that manifests itself in a policy of a major criminal organization.”

“There’s absolutely no motive absent the color of their skin,” adds former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Michael Camacho. Before he became a judge, in 2003, Camacho successfully prosecuted a Latino gang member for the random shootings of three black men in Pomona, Calif.

“They generally don’t like African Americans,” Pomona gang unit officer Marcus Perez testified in that case. “If an African American enters their neighborhood, they’re likely to be injured or killed.”

A comprehensive study of hate crimes in Los Angeles County released by the University of Hawaii in 2000 concluded that while the vast majority of hate crimes nationwide are not committed by members of organized groups, Los Angeles County is a different story. Researchers found that in areas with high concentrations, or “clusters,” of hate crimes, the perpetrators were typically members of Latino street gangs who were purposely targeting blacks.

Furthermore, the study found, “There is strong evidence of race-bias hate crimes among gangs in which the major motive is not the defense of territorial boundaries against other gangs, but hatred toward a group defined by racial identification, regardless of any gang-related territorial threat.”

Six years later, the racist terror campaign continues.

Unions aren’t too keen in shamnesty either, because that will mean a whole lot of non-union low wage workers competing for union jobs.

This is much more of a wedge issue in the Democrat party than health insurance.

Ask yourself this question.

WHY do blacks or hispanics join GANGS?

It is FOR a sense of FAMILY.

THey are not getting this at home and so they form a GANG.

The healthcare bill is full of scholarship funding to increase "diversity" in medical school enrollments. More affirmative action docs.

What do you call a guy who graduates at the bottom of his class in medical school?

Doctor

The gal running the electronics department at the Pocatello Walmart had a revealing comment. She said lots of people want jobs at Walmart. The problem is that they don't want to work. When they find out that pay checks aren't passed out just for coming to work, they quit. The city is 93% white. The problem is the current generation isn't inclined to actually work. Laziness comes wrapped in all colors.

But yet, in my town, all the workers at Walmart are white.
Most have been there for years and they work their butts off.

...among black teens, a staggering 44.9 percent are out of work.

Of that 44.9%, how many WANT to work? Teens are teens, and many will avoid taking a job if they can have what they want without doing so. Sounds like a great excuse, "hey, man, lots of us outta work". And there are probably many white teens who are working, who would not do so if they had an option. Some families, bless them, require work.

It would be an interesting fact to have on file. If black teens want to work as much as white, Asian or any others they do deserve some attention.

You may have read my story before but I’ll repeat it in case you haven’t. My stress test showed possible blocked arteries and the cardiologist asked me to come in. His name was Bhatia so I knew he was Indian or Pakistani. I thought about another oppinion and had a bad feeling about this guy but I guess I bought into the p.c. crap and stayed with him.

During the procedure 8 people had to hold me down the pain was so severe. I’d always been told there would be no pain. I found out later why it was so painful. The guy placed three stents then went to my wife and said “There were 3 blockages. I fixed them” then he went out of town.

I was placed in I.C.U. and he left me under the care of his partner who wasn’t even a cardiologist. She was Iranian. Shortly after being taken to I.C.U. one of the techs came in and said “That pain you felt? That’s what a heart attack feels like”. I had suffered a heart attack while the stents were being placed. That’s why they had to hold me down.

After two days I was released directly from I.C.U. to go home. I’ve since been told that’s a big No-No. The only instructions I was given was to take a Plavix and an aspirin every day. Two days later I went into cardiac arrest. The three stents had clotted. The cardiologist at the emergency room, and now my cardiologist, had to “adjust” the three stents and added a fourth one. And my heart suffered 20% damage. I reported this guy to the Texas Med Assc and the AMA and never even received a reply.

So, there’s your health care by “imported” doctors. Some of my family know this story and still support this health care bill.

And I can’t sue the guy because tort reform in Texas limits malpractice awards to $250,000 unless you die. Insurance companies will never settle when they know all they’re going to have to pay if they lose is $250,000. Bottom line is there’s no money is sueing. I’ve always been for tort reform but I think it went a little too far in Texas. Some of these doctors should be sued until they’re out of practice.

There’s a little town in Kentucky, I think’s it Benton, where there doesn’t seem to be any blacks. My uncle said he was in a Walmart and asked a clerk “Why are there no blacks in here?’

The reply was “No blacks live here.”

I didn’t know there were still towns like that.

I’ll also say that the small towns up north are much cleaner and better maintained than the small towns down south. Simply a fact.
