Tarleton "is committed to protecting and preserving the freedoms of thought, speech and expression." I can't wait for their Mohammed Cartoon Exhibit.

*YAWN* Tell me when they do a play about mohammad being gay.
No? They’re not brave enough?
Oh well. No big surprise, there. Christians usually don’t strap on suicide belts.

You know, the ironic thing about this is, if it were a play about the real Biblical Jesus, they probably wouldn’t show it because it was promoting religion.

Tarleton use to be a rodeo school where all the small town cowgirls and boys went to college.
I see they’ve changed.

It’s Texas. Small town students trying to make national news by being “avant garde.”

I wonder if they’d be as “tolerant of free expression” if the play was a blackface minstrel show. Or a gay bash. Christians need to start rioting at these events the same way the professional whining classes do already.

Beck ought to offer to put on a show for free...bets on whether they invite him?

I went ahead and emailed their president and asked him that. We'll see if he replies.

I can't wait for their Mohammed Cartoon Exhibit. Forget that, let's consider a hypothetical play that explored the homoerotic relationship between Martin Luther King Jr and Fidel Castro. I'm trying to imagine how the artistically tolerant champions of diversity like the Danny Glover and Sean Penn crowd would react to such a play. Would they call for boycotts and threaten litigation, or would they applaud the university's commitment to "protecting and preserving the freedoms of thought, speech and expression"?

And also contact the Theater Department directly. Ask these brave boys and girls when they will portray Mohammad as a pedophile.

I tweeted this, too. Spread the word as much as you can. Americans need to know what is going on in so-called “higher education”. I am disgusted and very angry.
