OTTAWA—Security officials have scrubbed American right-winger Ann Coulter’s speech at the University of Ottawa after a boisterous protest prompted concerns for her safety.
A spokesman for the group that organized the event said there were fears for Coulter’s well-being after about two thousand people gathered outside the venue to protest her presence there.
Coulter is a darling of the U.S. right-wing who uses incendiary language to sell millions of books as well as her syndicated column.
She sparked more controversy during a speech at University of Western Ontario Monday night when she told a 17-year-old Muslim student to “take a camel” instead of a the flying carpet she has previously suggested Muslims use for transportation.
Even before her Canadian tour began, Coulter received a pre-emptive and private caution about the limits of free speech in this country from the provost of the University of Ottawa.
The letter was immediately leaked to select conservative news organizations, with Coulter telling one that the university was “threatening to criminally prosecute me for my speech.”

So, a prentnd complaint about bad behavior from a conservative gets on the front page of the New York Times, but liberals can do this.

This is just a preview of what the US will become under Obama’s second term and from thereafter. ( I just hope it won’t happen sooner and we can prevent it by not giving him a second term).

Brings back memories of engineering school at Mizzou in ‘69 to ‘73. The south Asian instructors had such heavily accented English that nobody could understand them and absolutely terrible presence in front of a classroom. They were all known on campus as “camel jockeys.”
I am laughing so hard about all of this because she knew this would happen from the beginning and now this mess tonight only adds weight to her “human rights abuse” charge that she has filed with Canada.
She’s charging that these people (and one person in particular) are bigots attacking her “thoughts/beliefs” and is going to use Canada’s very own Human Rights Council (aka Leftist attack machine) to reveal their duplicity.
Ann’s playing them for fools and it’s good humor. I just hope she still gets paid.

well I happen to believe (personally) that non-muslim women should NEVER date or marry or procreate with muslim men .
All offspring are automatically considered as muslims , even if the mother disagrees . Islam is the greatest source of female enslavement that exists within the fabric of humanity .
