Majority of Republicans: Obama is a Muslim
A new national Louis Harris poll finds that a majority of Republicans believe that President Obama is a Muslim, while 45 percent agree with the so-called "Birthers" that the president was "not born in the United States."
The poll of 2,230 Americans, taken during last weekend's health care showdown in the House of Representatives, shows how successful Obama's opponents have been in demonizing the 44th president.
Full results are expected tomorrow, but preliminary findings were released in The Daily Beast by John Avlon, whose book "Wingnuts" details the hyper-partisanship that has swept America since 2008.
According to the poll, 57 percent of Republicans, and 32 percent of Americans overall, believe that Barack Obama is a Muslim. The opinion comes despite Obama's description in his bestseller, "The Audacity of Hope", of his adoption of the Christian faith.
The poll found that 45 percent of Republicans, and 25 percent in the overall survey, agree with Birthers that Obama was "not born in the United States and so is not eligible to be president."

How many people believe that Barack Hussein Obama is a Christian when he doesn’t acknowledge Christmas or Easter, has no baptism certificate, was raised by 2 muslim fathers, an agnostic mother, and a Unitarian grandmother?
Even Qaddafi calls Obama a muslim. He isn’t. He’s an atheist although he prefers the term “secular humanist”.
It's no rumor. He said in interviews that they don't give the kids Christmas presents, that the Obamas choose ONE GIFT for the whole family (more of the I WON philosophy Obama espouses).

Really? They've repeatedly said that it is unethical for them to release this document without Obama's consent and the continuing lawsuits to prevent it's release would indicate that Obama does NOT consent.
As for the "birther" question, it has been nauseatingly educational for me to see the entire American Mainstream Media successfully evade their responsibility to obtain the answer to one simple question: Why has Obama not released his long-form birth certificate? They can't even get around to distinguishing between the long form and the COLB. Do I believe that Obama was born in Kenya? No, I believe that his long form probably shows that his parents were not married, and he calculated that the information would be a political liability. But that is just a guess, and Americans should not have to guess what is printed on their president's birth certificate.

Belief that Obama is Islamic, however, is based more upon fact than fiction.
To be a true muslim, one must believe in mohammed as the last true prophet to the god of abraham.
I don’t know if obama qualifies. I would be very shocked if he is a true believer in any religion. He is definitely well educated in islam and I think he probably prefers islam over christianity but pretends the opposite for political reasons.

Truth hurts. He may not be THE antiChrist but he is AN antiChrist deceiver. One who seeks to replace the Church with The State. Be thankful to Big Govt. which provides a bounty for your every need. He mocks those who "cling to religion". He claims Christian faith while citing Jesus is a "historical figure" and not the savior, all faiths are of equal worth to him (a lift in your shoe but no path will get you to the non-existent "heaven"). He leads the flock astray.
