This link on Drudge needs to have a siren and remain the lead story until November.
http://www.breitbart.tv/shocking-audio-rep-dingell-says-obamacare-will-eventually-control-the-people
That is what this whole thing has always been about!
And sadly, quite a few people love to be controlled. Why bother with taking care of oneself when your Master will do it for you?
I agree. This absolutely needs to go viral.
Dingle- an appropriate name.

This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US Department of Energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I watched this while eating breakfast of US Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration.
At the appropriate time as regulated by the US Congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the US Naval Observatory. I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads built by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to send via the US Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.
After work, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to a house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all it's valuables thanks to the local police department.
I then log on to the internet which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration and post on freerepublic.com and Fox News forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.
..and then they run out of other people's money
But he meant ‘’control’’ in a good way. /s
Never, ever trust a guy who is named Dingell!
Nothing shocking about this.
100% government control is what this is ALL about.
I don’t even know where to begin, but DOT could take up several pages.
RE : SHOCKING AUDIO: REP. DINGELL SAYS OBAMACARE WILL EVENTUALLY CONTROL THE PEOPLE
Shocking only to those who haven’t been paying attention. We, who refused to vote for THE ONE already knew this as early as middle of last year.
Like Mao meant “Great Leap” in a good way.
Yes, and then comes the chip you will have to take in order to get health care.
Great stuff for a campaign ad against the SOB.
I guess that person never heard of Amtrak, or bore witness to the spectacle that is Government Housing.
....or ever toured New Orleans lately.
Maxine Waters warns Shell president in House committee hearing

2008 WorldNetDaily
A report by Fox News, captured in a clip posted on YouTube.com (Must see video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUaY3LhJ-IQ) , showed Waters challenging the president of Shell Oil, John Hofmeister, to guarantee the prices consumers pay will go down if the oil companies are allowed to drill wherever they want off of U.S. shores.
Hofmeister replied: "I can guarantee to the American people, because of the inaction of the United States Congress, ever-increasing prices unless the demand comes down."
The Shell exec said paying $5 at the pump "will look like a very low price in the years to come if we are prohibited from finding new reserves, new opportunities to increase supplies."
Waters responded, in part, "And guess what this liberal would be all about. This liberal will be about socializing uh, um..."
The congresswoman paused to collect her thoughts [for about 5-6 seconds this went on, while her colleagues behind her laughed].
"...would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies..."
The oil executives responded, according to Fox News, by saying they've seen this before, in Hugo Chavez's Venezuela.

Is his last name really Berry?
expect the media to report this and it has video evidence unlike their lies about people shouting racial slurs.
They’ll report this so much just like Rangel saying we all voted for socialism or how the Govt take over of health care will not be saving money but will cost more due to their fudged numbers they gave tot he CBO.
O wait we don’t have a fair free press no more we have state run media and idiots who are nothing but mouth pieces for this admin and the left and the race baiting NAACP and the CBC
+ Berry
Wait till the next so called flu epidemic....The shot will be mandatory!!!!
Hey you people, shut up with the rabble rousing comments, stop inciting hooliganism, and behave yourselves like good citizens should. Now line up and receive your Citizen Identification Card so that you may be benevolently controlled for your own good.
That is all.
Compliance is voluntarily-mandatory.
Be well.
They’ll control your physical health as well as your mental hygiene. Passing this bill will make it soooooooooooo much easier for the Leftists to take away law-abiding gun owner’s firearms away by disqualification for physical or mental reasons.
THX1138 is here folks!
He’s a Rat. Nothing shocking about how he thinks.
I can’t get to his page.....
Why is this shocking? Who didn’t know this before?
Is this the same Dingle who called the ATF Jack Booted Thugs?
He’s clearly suffering dementia. Listen to him.
And, all those projects, programs, regulations, have been paid for by the taxpayers of this country. They belong to us, not the government.
Here’s the whole thing...

How could the interviewer not call him on it...
The affirmative action bastard and his minions ave no intentions of releasing the death grip they now have over the dying Republic ... and it is they, the democrat fascist scum who are aborting the Republic!
The healthcare legislation was never about improving health in America, it was about taking final control. Sadly, the feckless Republicans are either on board with that long range plan or too stupid to realize the agenda in their faces. ... And still no one is building solid working guillotines.
Dingell is so old and inept he should be playing bingo somewhere. “Control the People?” Well you did such a fine job with Detroit.
This is the “camel's nose under the tent”.
One of the few limits to government encroachment is the legal concept that there is not “a compelling government interest” in regulating such behavior.
Now that they are paying for our health care, there is a “compelling government interest” in regulating even the most minute facets of our lives.
And we’ve paid for every one of these things and continue to pay long after their useful life has run out and have to use them even if a private company could have done a better job of it for a much smaller price.
Our government supposedly protects us from monopolies while using their power and our money to monoplize anything they can.
Fawn - I suggest that you read the 1950’s essay “I, Pencil” - which is a grade-school level (appropriate for you, perhaps) discussion of how something very very simple looking (a pencil) - requires a great deal of knowledge to fabricate. It also requires a FREE MARKET to work EFFICIENTLY!!
Yes, the government can have programs that work - but the smaller the program, the more likely it can be managed and yield useful results. The more complex - the more expensive and inefficient it becomes.
And if we went through your list of “government good” - item by item, we could identify many many areas where it isn’t the government - but private sector efforts. Most of the roads/infrastructure were built by private sector companies COMPETING in a free market. (And states and counties with their government road department - costs are often much higher and work is less efficient.)
Building codes, electrical codes - guess what - they are usually the result of private groups who come up with codes that the governments at various levels will adopt and reference. (The National Electric Code - NEC - wasn’t developed and updated by a government group, in spite of its name!!)
The FDA is a classic example where the FDA has become over-extended. The FDA imposes more and more regulations, more and more delays on the release of new drugs - including drugs that have already been approved in Europe or Asia. Some federal bureaucrat knows that if he approves a bad drug, he comes under scrutiny that he would like to avoid - but if he delays for years a good drug - at present, there are no consequences from withholding a beneficial drug from those that need it. There are lots of examples where existing miracle drugs in use today took extra (unnecessary) years to get approval because of some one who was afraid to make a decision!
The car you drove ...built by private enterprise. Wait til the government controls car companies (oops - they already do - at least 2 of the 3.) Most power generated in the US is the result of private companies building power plants. And even public utilities had private companies build the power plants that provide power!
Heck - I believe that the government CAN do some useful things - the military is one example of good results, and I would certainly not want to privatize the military. The government can be a tolerable solution for common good - like raising money through user fees and contracting out the building of projects with those fees. Gas taxes raise funds to allow road building, which everyone benefits from. A totally private sector solution might be difficult to implement.
But - having given a sense that your arguments were frivolous - lets consider how inefficient a large Postal System is (and the billions of dollars lost every year.) Lets consider that the Medicare and Medicatd systems are very inefficient, loose more than private insurance systems through Waste, Fraud and Abuse. The studies show that the government medical systems REFUSE payments at a higher rate that private insurances!! We will have a much larger system (more government employees) - higher administrative costs, and more burden on the doctors and hospitals - meaning less money for treatment and more money lost in the process!!
Bottom line - do you want more/bigger government? Do you think that medical innovation will benefit by making everyone kow-tow to more levels of oversight (think of the FDA times 100)? Costs will go up, and quality will go down.
Go back to the beginning. Read the essay “I, Pencil” - and consider how individual responsibility and private free market forces can result in higher quality, more innovation and better results. Even now, proof of this can be seen in areas like Lasik Eye Surgery - something usually not covered by any medical insurance plans (government or private) - yet higher quality systems continue to be developed that offer better results, while bringing costs down lower, year after year. That will be lost when the Feds control ALL medical procedures.
Of course. What the hell does anyone think this fraud was about??!! It’s only a little surprising that one of these thugs actually ADMITTED it!!!!
Damn, finally an honest Democrat.
You’re absolutely correct: It was never about health care, it was about people control. As I posted elsewhere:
Govt. Health Bureaucrat; Ride motorcycle? We wont cover you.
Govt. Health Bureaucrat: Fancy sports car? We wont cover you.
Govt. Health Bureaucrat: Nice speed boat? We wont cover you.
Govt. Health Bureaucrat: You own a gun?!!! We wont cover you!!!!
Ya’ll get the drift of what this crap is gonna do?
easy tiger, we hafta get a lil practice for the mandates daily hate rant.../obscure orwell...
Bravo, my first thought was "Yeah, those things work on a daily basis, DESPITE government involvement." Just like Health Care will "work" on a daily basis; its just a matter of lots of degrees of efficiency and freedom of choice.
“which is a grade-school level (appropriate for you, perhaps)”
Wow, quick to jump on someone without reading ALL of what they said....Fawn simply pasted something from SOMEONE ELSE’S facebook page and was giving us a heads up as to what was “going around”....
Perhaps you are the one that needs to return to grade school learn the concept of READING!
Sorry, but I can’t stand when freepers are so quick to jump on other freepers without bothering to get the whole story....
My mother in law is one, sadly.
Ultimately, it’s about the New World Order, which has a decidedly leftist influence.
