US Lawmakers Eyeing National ID Card
Slashfot ^ | 3/23/10 | timothy

According to Wired (and no big surprise, considering the practicalities of implementing massive changes in medical finance), US lawmakers "are proposing a national identification card, a 'fraud-proof' Social Security card required for lawful employment in the United States. The proposal comes as the Department of Homeland Security is moving toward nationalizing driver licenses."

The usurper should know about fraudulent social security cards. How many numbers does he have now?

This whole standardized drivers license thing has been put off so many times It’s almost become a punchline.

No, no, no. It’s not “May I see your papers, please?”. It’s “Show your papers or be arrested.”

I certainly won’t carry one embedded in my body.

I guess my enhanced driver’s license is basically the same anyway but I can ditch it anytime.

When socialist insecurity was first begun, ALL cards had imprinted on them prominently, “not to be used for the purposes of identification”.

As we all know, that soon went away, and the number was used for tracking all manner of things —and stolen.

What special provisions are there that this other, more powerful thing, will also not be stolen? Or used to track us?

To me, it appears that there is huge synergy between socialized medicine and immigration run amok.

They will issue these cards, prominently declaring, “THIS way, illegals will be prevented from stealing stuff from us...”. That’s the sugar to make the bitter pill go down. And after we’re required to carry them, they’ll amnesty all the invaders, and hand over these same cards to them.

One will have to show it when purchasing anything that could remotely be used against the state, i.e. gasoline, etc.

Since so many people will lose their “papers” the government will resort to PLAN B.
“Just roll up your RIGHT sleeve and we will TATTOO this permanent number on your forearm. Isn’t this a nice blue color”
I may not be too far off the point.

Why not go right to the microchip? That way, you always have it with you and it’s difficult to transfer or alter.

Well, it’s difficult for YOU to transfer or alter.

Plus, it’s the green solution.
