PHOENIX -- The day that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is set to campaign with Sen. John McCain in Tucson, another figure from the 2008 presidential election will make an appearance on the lawn of Arizona's capitol building.
Samuel Wurzelbacher, more commonly known as "Joe the Plumber," is scheduled to make an appearance at Friday's "Ax the Tax" rally against Proposition 100, which institutes a temporary sales tax increase across Arizona to fill the budget shortfall.
Wurzelbacher rose to fame after he questioned then-presidential-candidate Barack Obama about tax increases at a campaign rally. Both Obama and McCain referred to Wurzelbacher as "Joe the Plumber" during the presidential debates, thus giving him the nickname.
As Wurzelbacher talks taxes at the rally, Palin and McCain will be holding a picnic in Tucson on Friday before heading to Mesa for a rally Saturday.

As far as Romney - he seems to be sucking up to McCain as well. Ditto Fred (sad), Huckelbie, Newt (gag), Kyl and other stinking RINOs.
We got ObamaCare thanks to MCCain-Feingold. If Sarah wants to support a person who calls American conservatives - “racists” then she and Romney will be known by the company they keep - ie rats like McCain and Graham-nesty.

My short list for 2012 is only going to include people who were in the fight during 2009 and 2010. Guys who show up come primary season wanting my support aren't going to get it. In the fights against the O's takeover of America, there is a very short list of people who have been out front on these issues, a couple of politicians, a couple of ex-politicians, a small handful of talking heads. The guys who are polishing their speeches waiting for primary season don't interest me. You're either in the fight now while it matters or don't call me looking for my vote later.

Palin has privately told Hayworth's people that she won't be attacking him. McCain's people get this and understand it, and so do Hayworth's people, so you won't see J.D. attacking Palin at all.

That addition to the title that you do and the growing emphasis of your threads away from the Arizona race between McCain and Hayworth into a campaign against Governor Palin puts you as the biggest force on freerepublic to clear the path for Mitt Romney.
There are three front runners for 2012, the only two giants in it are Palin and Mitt Romney, you are at war to stop Palin, that leaves the vast political machine of Romney, the vast wealth and fund raising of Romney, the vast name recognition of Mitt Romney, and the vast establishement support from the GOP and the democrats for Mitt Romney, mostly unopposed.
The only people who hate Palin are the ones who didn’t like her before. The rest of us are trying to hang on by our fingernails as we watch someone we love help someone we loath get re-elected. Of course JD won’t attack her, he never would have attacked her whether or not her people talked to his or not.
