Posted on 03/24/2010 9:41:08 PM PDT by jdege
A poll up on the Doonesbury site:
After many months of rancorous debate and partisan passion, a health care reform bill has passed. What taste is left in your mouth?
- A sweet modicum of pride. A pleasant surprise to have an historic moment that didn't involve an invasion. I'm shocked and awed.
- A wasabi-like head blast. A month ago this thing was dead. It's like Northern Iowa taking down Kansas. What the hell? Props to coach Obama.
- The bitter taste of tyranny. I can't believe how unpatriotic, socialist and evil my fellow Americans are. And yes, I mean YOU. Repeal the bill now!

The results were not surprising.
These are the kind of polls that the administration believes in.
Yo ! Wake up !
The lefties are winning - get in there, FreePers.
What a crock of....Doonsberry.
well, it IS the liberal Doonesbury cartoon site, what do you expect their fan profile would be?
How about that, a leftist result on a leftist site. It’s like walking into the ocean and finding out you are wet.
Just sent this message to Sen. Coburn:
Let me start off by saying thank you for standing up for Liberty.
Next, I would like you to propose an Amendment to the health care “fixes” package. Seeing that the Democrats have for years rejected the idea of a National Voter I.D. Card on the grounds that it would be a “burden” on the poor to get one, with their latest “burden” on the poor to demand they purchase health care (even up too 2-3 % of yearly income) or be lumped into Medicare (which also requires some sort of documentation), it seems they have moved beyond the “burdening” of the poor.
This of course would help insure a fair election come November as well. With the defunding of ACCORN and subsequent possible bankruptcy, and a Voter I.D., the freedom loving American public would then be on, to quote our President, “a level playing ground”.
Thank you for your time and for your service. I hope you will consider this.
With the utmost respect,
uptoolate (of course I used my real name)
You woke me up at 1 AM for a friggin' Doonesbury poll?! I am going back to sleep where I can dream of free markets, liberty, free speech, freedom of religion and the opportunity to be all I can be. Or did I once live that?
Might makes right is a leftist doctrine.
It’s Doonessocilaist, who do you think reads this shit?
It’s like they have to gloat over having punked the Right even though many of them themselves are unhappy with the arrangements in the new legislation.
Sorry, not going to give that leftist has-been the hit. He’s trying to get Freeped. Just another desperate useless idiot looking for relevance...
Very true. Surprised?
SOP for those bustards.
Doonesbury has NEVER been funny. He completely ignored Clinton’s scandals. Only republicans are bad.
Bitter tyranny with a never ending aftertaste of poop!
Don’t give this has-been the hits.
Haven’t read Doonesbury for decades. Does Zonker have health insurance by now? Has he even found a job? If not, shame on Gary Trudeau for keeping him poor and uninsured!
Well, it would probably be the same results at, say, a poll at the Fox News site. Don’t you think? Or at Beck’s site. Or that phone poll that Ed what’s his name does on his show almost daily. I just know better than to rely on polls like that, in which there is a built-in bias that’s in the fan base, left or right. I don’t give any of them a second’s thought. I prefer the USA Today polls, or some of the other more neutral sites.
But this thing at Doonesbury was just a fun thing, and wasn’t intended to indicate anything really.
