Tks again for writing. You are right.

I am not fearful by nature. But I sense something frightful and violent ‘hanging in the air’, so to speak. We must brace ourselves. Extremist Muslims seem to have the upper hand, not in civilization issues, and not in technology; but they have this brutal trait to be willing to sacrifice their own dear and near and themselves; and there are many of them.

We ourselves have a duty to protect our own. IMHO that’s the key difference. Since there are so many of ‘them’, it’s a devilish dilemma. Satan is the fallen angel, out to create chaos everywhere. We must protect order.

In short: I can’t see a bright and hopeful future, and that is sad.
