Video-linked panels in New York, Monaco, Mexico City, Beijing, London, Nairobi and New Delhi painted an alarming picture of global poverty

Yes because of Socialist dictatorships and Islamic theocratic disputes that even pit different muslim believers against one another.

Their approach makes sense; No industry or economy, no growth, means lots of grass, brush and wild trees to reclaim the land.

Which means it will be a damned sight “greener” and the “Progressives” can all hold hands, dance in the sun and eat daisies.

Somehow, I don’t think Mexico is an example of anything good for anyone.

Expose me to all the violence you dare, but please do not butcher the King's English. (Smile)

true enough---don't always think through my 'heat of the moment' posts

So put a question mark at the end of my sentence (in your mind-smile)

Developing countries do that: “develop”, so-called “green rules retard a poor country’s ability to grow and prosper. Thus keeping them “poor” and dependant on rich nations to support them. Actually support the rich, corrupt dictators that keep the people starving.

NEW YORK (AFP) – The planet is overheating, under-resourced, and almost out of time, but technical innovation and green economics could save the world, experts and leaders Thursday told an international conference here.

You conveniently forgot “God is an ignoramus and didn’t know what he was doing”. So now we have a choice of ignoramuses.
I don’t think I’m on your side.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon’s country is falling apart on his watch because he cannot control druglords and he is going to solve poverty? I don’t think so.

Yea butt, he has an excuse, Hillary Clinton told me just the other day, that the drug lords were more powerful than the Mexican Government because they were able to bring in illegal guns purchased in the United States.

What she didn’t say was purchased from the United States Government, they soon found themselves in the hands of the drug lords, by theft, stealth, corruption, etc, etc.

When one is a master of the King's English, one assumes the burden of perfecting its usage for the uneducated masses.
