I’m not a fan of expelling Arabs though he should be distinguished from Kach, which is a designated terrorist group. For political reasons it’s true, but a criminal organization like Hamas and Hizbollah none the less. Support is largely nonexistant.

Kach and Kahane understood who, why, what, where, and how Islam operates. To anyone lacking this understanding, it is tempting to prevaricate, obfuscate, deconstruct, and deny objective reality while cloaking same in attempts to be “reasonable”. When body parts of civilians guilty of of the crime of being Jews in their own country are strewn about a cratered restuarant and someone attempts to rationalize why it is not what it is, I call that rightly “stuck on stupid”.
You seem to be an educated person because you write well and because you were able to establish a thesis and defend it. It doesn’t excuse the fact that your starting point is wrong.
Israelis are locked in an existential struggle against a foe that not only is incapable of reason, but is implacably against reason—rejects reason and chooses hatred and genocide as policy.
If the tables were turned in a day, and Israelis were recast in relative terms of power vis a vis the Palestinians, within 24 hours, all the Jews in Israel would be dead at the hands of the superior, dominant, culture.
Islam is a death cult. Pretending otherwise or even suggesting that “knowing better” includes some timetable as to when it is appropriate to act on what one has observed and determined to be fact, despite being based on fact magically tempered by some hope for an outcome for which there is no evidence (”being correct too soon”) is a fatuous, masturbatory, exercise in mental gymnastics and is in the end, suicidal.
People who peddle such drivel are only able to do so here, in the US, where make-believe is permitted, and where the likelihood of being blown up by a muslim is still thankfully low.
Israel despite being a secular, western, socialist democracy has stood the moral test for patience, charity, faith and hope, against all reason and all evidence to the contrary. Wnen the Lion finally roars “Enough!”, Judah will act in self-defense. I hope it is more than an “excursion” the next time. Or not.
For generations the United States was locked in an existential global struggle with the Soviet Union and her communist allies and adherents. Astonishingly, after years of decay and stagnation, in the space of just a few years, the Soviet Union and its empire collapsed. We seem to be close to a similar developments with North Korea and perhaps even Iran.
Will Islam experience a similar transition as led to the fall of the soviet Empire? I do not know that it will, only that it is possible and to be hoped for. In the meanwhile, you -- and I as well -- are under no illusions about the toxic nature of Islam.
Yet unless Israel is willing to embark on a genocidal war against her Muslim neighbors, she must somehow live with them. For the sake of Israel's survival, she must remain powerful and vigilant. That in turn requires that Israeli society not develop crippling internal divisions.
The extremism of Kach and Kahane -- and yes, extremism is the correct term -- provoked severe controversy in Israel. Again, even if the ideas of Kach and Kahane are correct, the mass of Israeli public opinion must be convinced of it by events.
Otherwise, a government founded on Kahane's ideas will experience wide scale and disabling opposition. Israeli society will fragment and Jews worldwide will be equivocal or opposed to Israel. For many Jews, even in Israel, the Left ideology of embracing your enemies has an appeal that is immune to facts.
Yet events have the power to disabuse individuals and countries of their fondest illusions and compel them to change course.
In Britain before WW II, Conservative governments -- with wide public support -- appeased Nazi Germany. Opposing this policy, Winston Churchill was marginalized and scorned by the British establishment and had little popular following.
When war with Germany came, Churchill was proved right. Having been kept out of the government during the era of appeasement, Churchill did not share the discredit of those who had led Britain into such grave peril.
Quickly, the British public rallied to Churchill and his political adversaries yielded to him. Britain, defeated and alone, united and summoned the determination to fight on against the odds.
Unlike Britain in the summer of 1940, Israel has sufficient strength to play the long game against her Muslim neighbors. In time, just as the peoples of the Soviet Union rejected her totalitarian ideology, Muslims may decide that joining the modern world is a better choice than the malignant doctrines of Sharia and jihadist Islam.
If not, if Israel falls into imminent existential peril, then the ideas of Kahane and Kach provide an alternative strategy for survival and victory. And Israel will be united behind that strategy.
As I said, you write well. Again though, you insert a non-player analogy. Chamberlain was popular despite being a moron. Hitler was not Ahmadinejad, he was a cashiered corporal, street agitator. Churchill was a brilliant pain in the ass.
Muslims in this matchup have no historical reference. Muslims, as in politically active, “good” muslims are basically wild animals in human skin. There likely were decent Germans in the Nazi era, many of them lived in the US and fought the Nazis in WWII. Those who were complacent or frightened kept their mouths shut and hoped it would end well for them. Secular muslims exist—I worked with them for five years in Afghanistan. They drink, they chase skirts, they party hard whenever they can. But they all, repeat all, still:
1. Believe women are chattel
2. Hate da Joos
3. Will eagerly kill anyone for converting to Christianity (or any other belief)
4. Pretend to be devout every Friday and give alms to expiate the shit they did in Dubai on Wednesday and Thursday.
My basic premise stands on evidence based on observation. If the Jews in Israel magically suffered a reverse in the power equation—i.e. they were at the mercy of the muslims, they would all be dead in 24 hours.
Visit Saudi Arabia. Catalogue the synagogues, churches, Hindu shrines, Buddhist temples. Total count=zero.
We are, on a global front, entering into a WWIII scenario driven by............MUSLIMS!!!!!!
Israelis know what they are up against. Hussein Obama, raised by and nurtured in a muslim society, by communists and atheists (when his mother dumped him off with grandpa and grandma) has been raised to hate Jews. He hates Jews. Hillary Clinton hates Jews. I am not fond of Dick Morris. I think he is an opportunist who has found that it pays to pretend to be a even handed, leaning conservative pundit, but, I would never call him an f’ing Joo Bastard like Hillary did.
Jews are incredibly patient, stamped on the forehead, old time liberal, most are unabashedly collectivist (socialist) but they do want peace and do not want war with anyone of their neighbors and have done and will do almost anything to avoid it.
In their own way, they are also stuck on stupid. But I love them anyway.
Talk is cheap when a gun is held to your head. If you cannot remove the gun, the conversation ends badly. The Israelis have lived each day with a gun to their head.
Our Marxist muslim president made clear that he is on the side of the muslim murderers and against the Jews. Israel will be worse off in the short and long run if they cooperate with our POS president on any issue.
