President Barack Obama made a campaign promise that he would not raise taxes on individuals making under $200,000 or couples under $250,000. However, Senator Max Baucus, a Montana Democrat, made a statement on the floor this week that seems to dispute Mr. Obamas tax pledge.
One other point I think that is very important to make is that it's true in certain cases taxes will go up for some Americans who may be making less than $200,000," said Mr. Baucus.
