Boston -- Barnstable police arrested a 43-year-old woman, her daughter and another teenager on Friday who were allegedly part of a shoplifting ring that sold an estimated $20,000 of stolen makeup and retail goods online.
Police said the three women targeted CVS stores in Cape Cod, swiping hundreds of dollars in cosmetics and beauty supplies at a time, then selling them through the Web site eBay and mailing them out to customers from a home in Hyannis.

Shouldn’t they also be charged with sending stolen property through the mail or across state lines?
