Live now on Fox
Rubio is framing the contrast very well. Excellent debate and criticism of Florida Governor Christie's support of the stimulus plan.
Rubio: "We need someone who can stand up to Obama"
Rubio on partisanship: "Lower the corporate tax, lower thwe capital gains tax, reduce the obstacles that make it increasingly hard to do business in America, and I'll be happy to cooperate....but what the Obama administration is attempting to do is fundamentally change America, and we can not cooperate on that."

Christie is the governor of NJ, I think you probably meant Crist.
Do you mean Christie of NJ or Crist of Florida ?
” Christie is the governor of NJ, I think you probably meant Crist.”
Yes, obvious typo - sorry about that. Moderator?
Christie = Republican SuperStar New Jersey Governor
Crist = RINO Florida ex-Governor
Where can I get a free Rubio bumper sticker, or pay for one where the money goes to the Rubio campaign? I see nothing on his site where this is possible?
Christie is the governor of Joisey, Crist is the closet queen from Florida.
>> Christie is the governor of NJ, I think you probably meant Crist.
Exactly. Christie would crush Rubio.
I think the Gov of Florida is kind of like a Kristi! You know, not so masculine.
No problem. FNS comes on here in 10 minutes.
Crist stated very clearly he would have joined Snow and voted against the Republicans and for Obama health plan.
I know you mixed it up, but Christie is the good guy....New Jersey
Crist is Florida....and I DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!
GO RUBIO!
Go Marco
It comes on FNC later.
I need to leave at 10 for church.
2:00pm ET on FNC. It’s 7:30am MT here. My FOX station shows the Chris Matthews Show before FNS on Sunday morning.
2PM....Thanks!..appreciate it.
The love is still in the air.

You’re welcome!
It is listed as 6/9 PM on Fox News Channel. If you have never seen or heard Marco speak before, you Christie fans who were poo-pooing Rubio, are due for a pleasant surprise, that is if you can comprehend these two will be on our side.
“Crist stated very clearly he would have joined Snow and voted against the Republicans and for Obama health plan.”
...and what, exactly, did the Republican Party leaders see in him again?
Did he already say that this morning?
Yes! Crist admitted he would have voted with Snowe, Collins and Spectre...now a Democrat!... on the stimulus bill.
They show it on the Fox News website later this afternoon anyway. Plus the DVR is your friend.
Really? He said he still supported the Stimulus Bill?
He is a goner then.
Crist’s line about Rubio not releasing his tax returns needs to be responded to.
He also said very clearly he will NOT run as an independent.
Let me guess, he’s a good fund raiser?
Crist was actually quite popular until Obama got elected. He was a sure thing until he fell in love with Barack.
FNS
On issue points, Rubio won.
On smear points, Crist won.
Crist seemed more interested in smearing his opponent than in discussing issues. [Isnt that AZ race sort of following a similar pattern?]
==
That was the first time I actually heard anything from those two.
Rubio impressed me. He had facts and wanted to discuss issues. It brought to mind the Ryan v Obama exchange.
The whole country has moved right since Obama was elected—if just to try to stabilize the ship!
Yes, he defended it.
Crist named John McCain and Lindsey Graham as his favorite senators.
Rubio named Jim Demint as his fav.
Crist makes me glad I don't live in FL. He's just a typical politician and it's obviously all about him. Clue...
Chris said they had looked at all Crist's campaign sites and literature and they couldn't find any mention of SOCIAL SECURITY!!!! The state with the oldest voters and Crist doesn't want to talk about SS?!!!!
Yep, Crist admitted he would have voted for the stimulus bill and ObamaCare.
Here’s video of the exchange:
Yep. RINO's run in packs. But it's interesting. Crist would have run to the left of McCain and Grahamnesty on ObamaCare.
That he’s a RINO.......just like they are.
Yeah, Crist was just pwned a few minutes ago on Fox but be had a great spray on tan.
WAIT a sec! Did Crist actually say he would have voted FOR the HEALTHCARE bill?
This guy is an emabarrassment to my state- I will happily vote for Rubio.
(I’ll watch it later today)
The first week Crist was in office he held a global warming confernece. No joke.
He also gave felons the vote in FL. Finally he picked McCain in the primary for FL which gave it to McCain over Romney. I may not like Mitt but he would have been light years better than McCain who took a dive for Soros.
I will say one thing for FL is they are taking out the trash here. I hope AZ follows suit and dumps McCain because McCain is far more evil than Crist.
Yep, like I said, he's still got stars in his eyes for Obozo The Clown.
He also nixed two FPL fossil fuel power plants shortly after taking office. say’s no to drilling, and supports the ObamaExpress from Orlando to Tampa.. What a dweeb.
I just wish Jeb had run against Bill Nelson in 2006, maybe he will in 2012..
Can Jeb run for governor again in Fla?
“That hes a RINO.......just like they are.”
Actually they’re not. There are very issues that Cornyn (the leader of the bunch that selected Crist) is RINO on. That’s also true for at least 75% of the Republican Senators...they generally vote good.
My thought is that Crist was considered “electable”, whereas Rubio was less known throughout the state.
But still...you have to draw the line at some point - if Crist would have voted for that health care monster, then it is MUCH BETTER to simply have a Democrat there...rather than give them that token Republican vote they so desperately wanted.
Bump
When a professional baseball team looks for players, they don’t go out looking for someone who is “streaky” or can’t be counted on to be swinging for the fence before every pitch. We shouldn’t be voting for representatives who try to get it right once in a while. Go for the park at every pitch.
The people in this country are waking up in a big way and are becoming very cogniscent in they have the power of term limits at the ballot box. This has never been more illustrative than the political climate today.
Question is when will the RNC and Sen Cornyn apologize to Rubio?
Crist spent the whole debate attacking Rubio, and left the viewers of Florida with no reason to vote for him. Crist even used his closing remarks to make a couple more attacks at Rubio. For his part, Rubio held up fine. Crist is toast.
actually Crist is still the Governor. The only thing he can do is attack Rubio on bank accounts he has and not defend himself against his support of Obamanomics.
“Actually theyre not. There are very issues that Cornyn (the leader of the bunch that selected Crist) is RINO on. Thats also true for at least 75% of the Republican Senators...they generally vote good.”
This kind of statistic is meaningless. The question is, do they vote good when the vote is close. You would find an amazing tendency to bipartisanship by RINO’s when the vote is close and their vote actually matters.
The 75% is cover voting for the rubes back home. It is votes on bills that are already decided.
The ‘debate’ will repeat at 6pm on FNC Fox New Channel (cable station)
