It was an ominous signal when the White House didn't provide photos or briefings after the much-anticipated meeting between President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this week. After Joe Biden was blindsided by a surprise Israeli announcement of a new East Jerusalem housing project a couple of weeks earlier, the Obama administration was clearly sending a message of extreme displeasure. Now we know just how frosty that meeting really was:
[Obama] immediately presented Mr. Netanyahu with a list of 13 demands designed both to the end the feud with his administration and to build Palestinian confidence ahead of the resumption of peace talks. Key among those demands was a previously-made call to halt all new settlement construction in east Jerusalem.
When the Israeli prime minister stalled, Mr Obama rose from his seat declaring: "I'm going to the residential wing to have dinner with Michelle and the girls."
As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. "I'm still around," Mr Obama is quoted by Israel's Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. "Let me know if there is anything new."
Obama didn't even offer a half-assed, insincere invitation for Netanyahu to join him — you know, "I'm going to go eat dinner with my family. You don't want to join, do you? It's probably not your type of food. If you want to just relax in here that's totally fine. You look comfortable." That's when you know relations have really become strained.

Update: Despite reports that Obama left his meeting with Netanyahu to eat dinner with his family, and others that claim Obama left the meeting to put his daughters to bed, the White House points out to us that such scenarios are impossible, since Michelle, Sasha, and Malia Obama were in New York City that night.
With the wife and kids out of town maybe he had a male honey waiting for him in the Lincoln bedroom.
Look folks, POTUS Obama dislikes, if not hates Israel immensely. Spending twenty years worshipping the America hating, Jewish hating, Reverand Jeremiah Wright has developed Obama into a Jeremiah Wright lock-step believer. You know the old saying, “the acorn does not fall far from the tree”. And, for all we know, POTUS Obama is a closet Muslim at best.

First Lady Michelle Obama dined at Aquavit, the Scandi navian eatery on East 55th, as she continued her culinary tour of the city Tuesday. “She came by with a group of friends,” says a spy. “She was wearing a sleeveless black dress and had the tasting menu.” Obama tapped Aquavit chef Marcus Sam uelsson to cook last year’s state dinner at the White House for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. While on her spring break here, the first lady also stopped by Dinosaur Bar-B-Q in Harlem and Grimaldi’s pizzeria in Brooklyn.
I don’t care, if it wasn’t true, it’s no less than what the left does to us all the time. And the fact that it’s perfectly believable says everything about Hussein.
That was Monday night...didn’t the meeting with Bibi take place on Tuesday evening? Could they not have been back by then?

You mistook my comment as saying the Israelis lied... Far from the truth. My actual intention was to affirm my firm belief that EVERYTHING this adminstrations does or says is an outright lie.
That first day, alert people reported that wife and kids were in NYC - they got caught in a lie - and when proven so, 'adopted' the truth as if their own.
Either way, he WALKED OUT on Netanyahou - a totally crass thing to do...with a snotty remark that one might make to a recalcitrant two year old.
Total disdain for a world leader. Chicago Thuggery at it's worst.
If any world leader still had doubts that they are dealing with a narcissistic little street thug, those doubts are gone.

Not sure why this scenario is “impossible.” The event in question occurred last Tuesday night. True, Obama literally could not have actually had dinner with them, but the key to the story is what he SAID. Given the extraordinary and persistent lies Obama was willing to tell the American public about health care reform (reduces the deficit, bends the cost curve, doesn’t raise taxes “one dime” for those below $250K), it’s not at all implausible that he told a whopper to Netanyahu. No doubt the Israelis would subsequently learn that Michelle and the girls were still in NYC, at which point the INTENDED diplomatic slight would be amplified considerably. At that point it would be clear that Obama had so little respect for Netanyahu, he was willing to flagrantly lie to his face. I think this was deliberate.
Think about it this way. Why would Israelis plant a so obviously false story? At the time this was leaked to UK reporters, no one in the Israeli diplomatic team would have been privy to the exact schedule of Michelle and the girls. It was well-publicized that they’d seen Broadway shows on Sunday and Monday night, but for all they knew, Air Force One had flown them home late that afternoon in time for dinner with president etc.
Thus, while it would have been very dicey to MAKE UP a story about them returning Tuesday night in time for Obama to deliver this slight, it seems far more plausible that the leaker was accurately leaking what actually was said by Obama, evidently not realizing at the time it was a lie (since that would have made the story even more explosive and would have been a natural detail to include if the whole purpose was to make Obama look bad). In short, the fact that he COULDN’T have had dinner with his family actually lends credibility to this leaked account. But only because we are dealing with a known liar-in-chief.
Actually I wasn’t sure what you meant, so I stated my comment as an affirmation of what I hoped you meant, which is that the White Hut is as usual lying regrading their “correction”. I’ve seen your posts here enough to know that you wouldn’t be supporting Hussein and his comrades :)

All we know is that he left the meeting and that the Israelis decided not to use the WH phones, since they record what is being said.
The meeting must have been extremely heated.
